About the role: As an HR Advisor, you will become a trusted partner to managers and employees, supporting them throughout the entire employee lifecycle. Based in our international Sevenum office, you’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations while advising on employee relations, absence management, and Dutch employment law. Vacatureomschrijving About your tasks: Advise and support managers and employees on operational HR topics, including employee relations, performance conversations, absence management, and Dutch employment law. Take ownership of office-related sickness cases and work closely with managers to ensure effective case management and compliant processes. Guide employees through the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding and contract changes to internal transfers and offboarding. Collaborate closely with Payroll, Recruitment, and HR Services to ensure seamless and compliant HR processes. Drive continuous improvement by maintaining HR documentation, updating policies, and supporting enhancements to HR systems and processes. Functie-eisen About you: You have at least 3 years of experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or in a similar operational HR role. You have solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and enjoy advising managers on employee-related topics. You are fluent in Dutch and English; German language skills are a strong plus. You enjoy working independently, have a customer-oriented mindset, and appreciate close collaboration with your colleagues. Experience with Workday is an advantage. Core Responsibilities

Advise managers and employees on operational HR matters, including employee relations, performance, absence management, and Dutch employment law, while managing sickness cases and supporting employees throughout the employment lifecycle. Coordinate with Payroll, Recruitment, and HR Services, and improve HR documentation, policies, systems, and processes.

Requirements

At least three years of experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or similar operational HR role is required, along with solid knowledge of Dutch employment law and fluency in Dutch and English. The role also calls for independent, customer-oriented work and close collaboration; German is a strong plus, and Workday experience is an advantage.
