About The Role As the HR Manager at TOP The Onion Group’s headquarters in ’s-Gravenpolder, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and developing the company’s HR strategy and operations. This is a new position offering substantial influence and the opportunity to build an HR function from the ground up, aligning HR initiatives with the company's ambitious growth plans. You will be a key member of the Management Team, acting as a strategic partner to the executive board and contributing to the organization’s overall direction. Your expertise will be instrumental in establishing effective HR policies, processes, and a positive workplace culture that supports employee engagement and organizational success. You will oversee a small team of HR professionals, providing leadership and guidance to enhance HR services across the organization. The role requires a proactive and strategic mindset, with the ability to quickly understand organizational dynamics and translate insights into practical HR solutions that foster a high-performance environment. You will also collaborate closely with other TOP entities, ensuring consistency and alignment in HR practices across the group. Core Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes aligned with the company’s growth plans, while leading and developing the HR team. Advise the management team, lead change initiatives, ensure employment-law compliance, use HR analytics to guide decisions, and support recruitment, retention, employee engagement, well-being, and leadership development.

Requirements

Requires an HBO+ work-and-thinking level and at least seven years of broad HR advisory experience in a dynamic organization, including change management and organizational development. Candidates should have strong employment-law knowledge, experience with HR analytics and process digitalization, excellent communication and organizational skills, and fluency in Dutch and English.
