The Role: Repairs and Assessment Coordinator We are seeking a Repairs and Assessment Coordinator to join our operations team in Hoofddorp. How You’ll Contribute Assess product issues and collaborate with workshop teams to resolve them Track and issue repairs to the workshop Coordinate with regional offices for stock transfers Source stones, findings, and materials for urgent orders Oversee workshop repair costs Provide general customer service Train new team members Book returns and repairs in a timely manner Send products for hallmarking Work with the wider team to conduct regular stock checks What we’re looking for: An individual with strong knowledge of jewellery (Metals, settings, tolerances, etc) Product assessment Desire to learn and train on all elements of the role Ability to work to deadlines High levels of accuracy Someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal A friendly and approachable individual with a confident and polite manner. Core Responsibilities
Assess jewellery product issues and coordinate repairs with workshop teams, including tracking repair work, overseeing costs, sourcing materials, and arranging stock transfers. The role also handles customer service, returns, hallmarking, stock checks, and training new team members.
Requirements
Candidates should have strong knowledge of jewellery, including metals, settings, and tolerances, along with product assessment ability and a willingness to learn all aspects of the role. They should be accurate, deadline-oriented, communicative, approachable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
