Shape people strategies across multiple regions and strengthen HR practices worldwide. INSO is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Headquarters team in The Hague and support Country Offices across West Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working across diverse contexts, advising leaders on complex workforce challenges, and turning HR insight into practical action. You will partner closely with Country Directors, HR colleagues, and HQ stakeholders to strengthen HR capacity, promote compliance, and support effective people management across the organization. What you'll be doing 🔹 Advising Country Offices on workforce and organizational planning, succession planning, and capacity development 🔹 Coaching managers and HR colleagues on HR policies, procedures, and effective people management practices 🔹 Providing guidance on labor law compliance, HR risk management, donor requirements, and audit readiness 🔹 Analyzing workforce data, identifying trends, and translating insights into recommendations for leadership 🔹 Supporting employee relations, safeguarding, duty of care, and organizational change initiatives 🔹 Contributing to global HR projects, policy development, and continuous improvement efforts 🔹 Traveling to Country Offices to provide targeted support, oversight, and capacity-building Who we're looking for ✔️ At least 5 years of HR experience within an INGO or humanitarian environment ✔️ Proven experience advising managers across the employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and organizational development ✔️ Strong knowledge of labor legislation, HR compliance, and risk management ✔️ Experience interpreting HR data and turning findings into practical solutions ✔️ Confidence to influence, coach, and build trusted relationships across cultures and levels of seniority ✔️ Fluency in English and working knowledge of French, Spanish, Arabic, or another relevant language ✔️ Willingness and ability to travel internationally Why join INSO? Candidates should be able to interpret HR data, influence and coach across cultures, speak English fluently, and have working knowledge of French, Spanish, Arabic, or another relevant language.
