At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an ICT Systems Specialistto join our UniQue team. What will you be doing in this role? Assist in designing, verifying, documenting, amending and refactoring moderately complex software configurations for deployment. Collaborate in reviews of work with others as appropriate. Monitor operational systems for resource usage and failure rates, to inform and facilitate system software tuning. Apply system software parameters to maximise throughput and efficiency. Install and test new versions of system software. Contribute to preparation of software implementation procedures with fall back contingency plans. Carry out agreed network maintenance tasks and specified operational configuration of network components. Establish and diagnose network problems/faults using the required troubleshooting methodology and tools. Use network management software and tools to collect agreed performance and traffic statistics. Install or remove hardware and/or software, using supplied installation instructions and tools, including handover to the client. Record details of all components that have been installed and removed. Assist users and follows agreed procedures for further help or escalation. Contribute to the development of installation procedures and standards. Administer the recording of activities, logging of results and documents technical activities undertaken. Requirements What do you need to succeed in this position? A Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field with at least years of practical experience of implementation and maintenance of ICT end systems within a large organization. Good experience configuring hardware and software. Good understanding of ICT systems and the ability to work independently to solve problems. Hands-on experience troubleshooting technical issues and providing technical support to end-users. Desirable: Hands-on experience on troubleshooting technical issues and providing technical support to end-users. Network configuration, debugging trouble shouting (TCP/IP, VPN, VLAN, firewall, DNS). Cybersecurity infrastructure understanding. Software development in java, C, C++, python, scripting language. Hardware and software configuration of Server hosting platforms, custom disk configurations with specific storage controllers, RAID configuration, redundancy management. Overall Strong analytical and problem-solving skills on: Remote server administration, Log analysis, Network tool usage (Wireshark). ITIL foundation or advanced level training and certification is required. An active NATO Security Clearance is required. Very good command of spoken and written English (B2). Core Responsibilities

Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot ICT systems, software, hardware, and network components, while monitoring system performance and applying configuration changes to improve efficiency. Document technical activities and installed components, support users, and contribute to implementation procedures, contingency plans, and installation standards.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, practical experience implementing and maintaining ICT end systems in a large organization, and strong hardware/software configuration and troubleshooting skills. Also requires ITIL training or certification, active NATO security clearance, and very good spoken and written English at B2 level; experience with networking, cybersecurity, programming, server platforms, and remote administration is desirable.
