Senior Data Platform Engineer (with Lead track) Amsterdam | Working from home (Hybrid) Are you passionate about building scalable cloud platforms that make real-world impact? At Xccelerated, we're looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to help evolve and scale a cloud data platform at a large, customer-facing energy organisation. Four days a week you'll build and run the platform. Core Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate a secure, scalable AWS data platform, including infrastructure as code, Python automation, CI/CD pipelines, and ongoing improvements to stability, observability, and cost efficiency. Train and coach consultants, assess technical candidates, share best practices, and contribute to the community’s technical direction.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Cloud, IT, or a related field, plus at least five years of experience in platform, cloud, data engineering, or DevOps. Candidates should have strong AWS and Python skills, hands-on Terraform experience, CI/CD and DevOps knowledge, and an interest in training and coaching; familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, dbt, or Kafka is a plus.
