Sales & Marketing Assistant Starter Position – Full Time, 40 hours per week About the job Graphtec Europe B.V. is looking for a positive, proactive and flexible Sales & Marketing Assistant to join our small international team in Hoofddorp. This is a starter-level position for someone who has recently completed their education or is at the beginning of their professional career. Graphtec Europe B.V. manages two brands in Europe: Graphtec – professional cutting solutions for commercial, technical and industrial markets. Silhouette – cutting machines, software and creative products for consumer, hobby, education and small-business markets. For this position, you will initially focus on the Silhouette business, supporting Sales, Marketing and Sales Administration activities across Europe. We are not looking for a highly experienced specialist or manager. We are looking for someone who is open-minded, energetic, willing to learn and comfortable taking on different kinds of work. Previous professional experience is not required. Because we are a small organization, flexibility is very important. Roles are not narrowly defined, and team members support each other across different areas when needed. Training will be provided, and you will learn the work step by step. Your workplace Our European office is located in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. This is an office-based position, and we expect you to work from our Hoofddorp office on a daily basis. Public transportation commuting expenses will be reimbursed 100%. What will you do? You will initially focus on supporting the Silhouette business in Europe and gradually gain experience in areas such as: Support Sales & Marketing activities Sales Administration and order follow-up Prepare regular sales reports and presentations Support distributor communication Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities Support Social Media and Content Planning Assist with new product launches Support exhibitions, distributor events and training activities Assist with general administration and day-to-day business activities Support other reasonable operational tasks when needed within our small team You are not expected to know everything from the beginning. You will learn the work step by step with support from the team. Who are we looking for? Bachelor / HBO degree or equivalent Recent graduates and starters are strongly encouraged to apply Previous professional experience is not required Fluent in English Interested in Sales, Marketing and international business Basic Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint Proactive and willing to learn new things Flexible and adaptable Comfortable doing different kinds of tasks Comfortable working in a small international team Available full time, 40 hours per week Willing and able to work from our Hoofddorp office every working day Preferably living within a comfortable commuting distance of the office, with a practical daily commute by public transport Must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands We value attitude, flexibility and willingness to learn more than previous experience or advanced academic qualifications. Core Responsibilities

Support the Silhouette business across Europe through sales and marketing activities, sales administration, order follow-up, reporting, distributor communication, and campaign and content support. Assist with product launches, exhibitions, events, training, general administration, and other operational tasks as needed.

Requirements

A bachelor’s degree, HBO degree, or equivalent is sought, and recent graduates or career starters are encouraged to apply; previous professional experience is not required. Candidates should be fluent in English, have basic Microsoft Office skills—especially Excel and PowerPoint—and be proactive, adaptable, interested in sales, marketing, and international business, and able to work full time on-site in Hoofddorp with legal authorization to work in the Netherlands.
