What you’ll do As a Fullstack Developer, you will work on custom applications that play an essential role in Plukon Food Group’s daily operations. You will be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from gathering business requirements to designing, building, testing, and implementing new solutions. In this role, you will collaborate closely with end users, business analysts, and fellow developers. Approximately 70% of your work will focus on new development and 30% on maintenance and support. You gather functional requirements together with users and business stakeholders and translate them into technical designs and future-proof solutions. You design databases and develop both backend and frontend functionalities for business-critical applications across Plukon. You work on applications supporting live poultry intake registration, inventory management, equipment maintenance, logistics, order processing, and innovative development projects. You guide users during testing, implementation, and optimization, ensuring stable and reliable application performance. You actively contribute to the ongoing development of our in-house software framework, development standards, and technical architecture. Where you’ll make it together As a Fullstack Developer, you will be based at our headquarters in Wezep and become part of the Application Development team. Together with four developers, you will be responsible for custom-built applications that support critical business processes throughout Plukon. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across various departments. The strength of this role lies in the combination of technology and business. You will have the freedom to develop solutions from start to finish, from functional analysis and database design to frontend, backend, and implementation. What you bring For the position of Fullstack Developer, we are looking for a technically skilled professional who enjoys connecting business needs with IT solutions. You have a Bachelor’s degree level of working and thinking, gained through relevant education and/or practical experience, and an affinity for complex business processes and software development. You have experience in full stack development and knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases, Node.js, NestJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, REST APIs, Angular, HTML, and CSS. You are analytically strong, communicate effectively with users and stakeholders, and enjoy independently translating functional challenges into software solutions.
