Financial Controller Location: Numansdorp, the Netherlands | 32 to 40 hours per week Are you an experienced Financial Controller looking for a broad role where you can really make an impact? Udenco is an international organisation with activities in the Netherlands, Slovakia and China. Our Finance organisation is developing and professionalising rapidly. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced Financial Controller who will play an important role within Finance and Control for the entire group. This is not a role where you only prepare reports. You will have broad responsibilities, work directly with the CFO and have plenty of opportunity to contribute your own ideas, improve processes and help shape the further development of Finance. What will you do? As Financial Controller, you will have a broad and varied role and will be involved in almost all financial aspects of our organisation. You will make sure that our financial information is reliable, complete and well supported. At the same time, you will look beyond the numbers and actively contribute to making our financial processes, systems and reporting smarter and more efficient. Your responsibilities will include: • Performing the monthly consolidation of the different group companies • Reviewing and analysing monthly financial reports • Preparing monthly, quarterly and year end closings • Ensuring the quality, completeness and accuracy of financial information • Performing balance sheet reviews and analysing profit and loss accounts • Identifying and analysing deviations an translating them into clear financial information • Working on budgets, forecasts and cash flow forecasts • Working closely with and guiding the local Finance teams within our international entities • Further developing and improving management reporting • Preparing the consolidated financial statements and audit • Acting as a financial point of contact within the organisation • Improving and standardising financial processes and internal controls • Participating in Finance projects and further automation of financial processes Consolidation and LucaNet Consolidation and group reporting are an important part of this position. Udenco uses LucaNet for monthly consolidation and financial group reporting. We are currently further developing and optimising the system. Therefore, we are looking for someone with proven experience in consolidations and working with consolidation systems. Experience with LucaNet is a strong advantage. Who are we looking for? You have: • A completed Bachelor degree in Finance, Business Economics or a comparable field • Several years of relevant experience as a Financial Controller • Proven experience with consolidations and consolidation systems • Experience with LucaNet is a strong advantage • Experience within an international group structure is an advantage • Good knowledge of Excel • Experience with ERP and financial systems • An accurate, analytical and independent way of working • A practical mindset and have a strong attention to detail What do we offer? Core Responsibilities

Perform group consolidations, review financial reports, manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information. Develop reporting and financial processes, support budgets and forecasts, guide local finance teams, and contribute to audits, automation, and finance projects.

Requirements

A completed bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a comparable field and several years of relevant Financial Controller experience are required. Candidates should have proven consolidation and consolidation-system experience, strong Excel and financial systems knowledge, and an accurate, analytical, independent, and practical approach; LucaNet and international group experience are advantages.
