The Opportunity In this role, you will further develop your project management experience in a targeted and structured way. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will support a diverse range of projects across the industrial, research, and digital infrastructure sectors, gradually taking on greater responsibility. You will gain exposure to different project phases, coordinate key stakeholders, and contribute to the structured and successful delivery of projects. As a (Junior) Project Manager At Arup, You Will Coordinate multidisciplinary teams together with Project Managers and Design Managers, helping to drive complex projects forward in a structured and efficient manner Manage and maintain project schedules, deliverables, and documentation, ensuring transparency around progress, milestones, and next steps Actively monitor project progress, risks, costs, and timelines, supporting reliable project governance and informed decision-making Facilitate effective communication between clients and internal teams, ensuring clarity and alignment through well-prepared planning and coordination of meetings Contribute to quality standards and project reporting while building valuable expertise in project planning and professional project delivery processes Take on increasingly independent responsibilities as your experience grows and develop step by step towards managing your own projects Does this role inspire you? We also value: A completed degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Project Management, or a related discipline Initial experience gained through engineering, construction, or consulting projects, whether through graduate roles, internships, or student positions An interest in industrial, research, infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities, and the ambition to contribute within a technically demanding environment A basic understanding of local and international project delivery standards, combined with strong organisational and communication skills The ability to work effectively in international, multidisciplinary teams, very good Dutch and good English language skills, and the motivation to continuously develop professionally Why Arup? Core Responsibilities

Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders while maintaining project schedules, deliverables, and documentation. Monitor project progress, risks, costs, and timelines, support reporting and quality standards, and gradually take on responsibility for managing projects.

Requirements

A completed degree in engineering, architecture, construction project management, or a related discipline is required, along with initial experience from engineering, construction, or consulting projects. Candidates should have an interest in technically demanding industrial, research, infrastructure, or mission-critical facilities, strong organizational and communication skills, basic knowledge of project delivery standards, and very good Dutch and good English.
