Join Lenovo’s Asset Recovery Group (AAG) as a CFS Operations Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our Configuration Fulfillment Services (CFS) environment. In this role, you will lead the execution and continuous improvement of the Netherlands CFS operation, ensuring efficient service delivery, scalable processes, strong governance, and exceptional customer outcomes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Sales, Supply Chain, Service Delivery, Logistics, and IT while supporting the expansion of lifecycle services and driving global process alignment. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, ISS Global Imaging Configuration Services, you will have the opportunity to influence strategic initiatives, optimize operational performance, and help shape the future growth of Lenovo's worldwide services business. This role requires on site presence in Venray, Netherlands. What You Will Do Lead the day-to-day execution and continuous improvement of the Netherlands CFS operation, optimizing capacity planning, throughput, and overall site performance. Design and implement business and system process controls to reduce human-error-driven issues, improve delivery reliability, and ensure consistent service quality. Establish structured governance for risk management, issue resolution, escalations, and KPI reporting to drive predictable outcomes and strengthen seller confidence. Ensure operational readiness to expand lifecycle services capabilities, including kitting, device configuration, repair coordination, asset management, IT asset disposition, and certified data erasure. Oversee customer-owned inventory management, including stock accuracy, returns handling, inventory visibility, and inventory control processes. Own EMEA CFS/ITC project intake governance by validating requirements, order flows, and operational readiness while coordinating with ITC, SMO, logistics, and other key stakeholders. Lead First Article Testing (FAT), support rollout schedules and shipment coordination, and provide executive-ready status updates and risk reporting for new CFS projects. Define clear operational handovers between project teams, CFS operations, and 3PL warehouse partners while collaborating with global GICS and CFS teams to maintain worldwide process alignment and share best practices. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with a strong foundation in operations, service delivery, supply chain, or fulfillment environments. Proven experience managing operational processes within configuration services, logistics, fulfillment, or end-to-end service delivery organizations. Strong ability to drive cross-functional execution by collaborating effectively with Sales, Delivery, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and other business stakeholders. Experience establishing governance structures, operational cadences, and stakeholder communication frameworks to ensure alignment and accountability. Demonstrated success implementing process controls and operational improvements that reduce errors, strengthen quality, and improve delivery consistency. Working knowledge of CFS-related services such as Autopilot deployment, VPN-based staging, BIOS customization, device labeling, asset management, lifecycle returns, and certified data erasure. Proven ability to leverage data, metrics, and insights to drive operational transformation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and execution skills, with the ability to manage complex operational challenges and deliver measurable business outcomes. Core Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations and continuous improvement for the Netherlands Configuration Fulfillment Services operation, including capacity, service quality, inventory, governance, and risk management. Govern project intake and readiness, coordinate First Article Testing and launches, and align handovers and processes with internal teams and third-party warehouse partners.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required, along with proven operational experience in configuration services, logistics, fulfillment, or end-to-end service delivery. Candidates should demonstrate cross-functional leadership, governance and process-control expertise, analytical problem-solving, and working knowledge of device staging, configuration, asset management, returns, and certified data erasure.
