As we scale our breakthrough technology from successful pilot projects to industrial operations, we are looking for a hands-on Lab Processing Plant Technician to help transform waste concrete into low-carbon construction materials. Based in Rotterdam and powered by a diverse international team, everox is accelerating the transition to a more circular and sustainable construction industry. About The Job As our Lab Processing Plant Technician, you will operate our lab processing plant, where waste concrete is crushed, milled, sieved and carbonated into next-generation building materials. From running processing campaigns and supporting R&D to generating customer samples and tracking process data, you will play a key role in bringing innovative technologies from concept to reality. No two days are the same at everox. One day you will be running a milling campaign, the next you will be producing customer samples, analysing process data or helping improve a carbonation process. What You Will Do You will be at the heart of our material development process, turning waste concrete into the next generation of low-carbon building materials. In This Role, You Will Operate and optimize our lab processing plant, including crushing, sieving, milling and carbonation equipment. Produce material batches for R&D projects, product development and customer trials. Run carbonation campaigns and monitor key process parameters to ensure high-quality results. Transform process data into clear insights that help improve performance and scale our technology. Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues and keep operations running smoothly. Support testing and sample preparation across our laboratory activities. Identify opportunities to improve workflows, processes and safety standards. Collaborate closely with engineers, researchers and lab colleagues to bring innovative technologies to life. About You You're someone who likes to make things happen. You enjoy working hands-on with equipment and materials, while also having the curiosity to understand the data behind the process. You Bring An MBO-4 or BSc degree in Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering or a related field. 2+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory, pilot plant or production environment. Confidence working with mechanical operating equipment and industrial processes such as crushers, mills and sieves. Solid Excel skills to be able to clean, analyze and visualize data. What We Offer Salary based on experience and qualifications (€42,000-€45,000 gross per year, including holiday allowance). Employee ownership through our ESOP. 27 days of annual holiday leave. Requirements
Applicants should have an MBO-4 or BSc qualification in process technology, chemical engineering, materials science, civil engineering, or a related field, plus at least two years of hands-on experience in a laboratory, pilot plant, or production environment. They should be comfortable with mechanical processing equipment and industrial processes, have solid Excel skills, and bring an organized, practical, safety-first approach.
