About the Team
As a Planner Warehouse, you will be part of the Global Spare Parts team. The Spare Parts team is globally responsible for portfolio management, sales, planning, ordering and delivery of Vanderlande’s material handling spare parts.
The department is divided into three sub-teams:
- Logistics – responsible for material planning, ordering, operational supplier management, warehousing, and outbound logistics of spare parts. You will be part of this team.
- Sales and Portfolio Management – responsible for item control, portfolio management, and sales order management/support.
- Strategy and Transformation – focusing on developing strategy and executing projects and changes related to strategic initiatives.
What You Will Do
The Warehouse Planner is responsible for developing and managing operational plans, wave releases, shipment trips, and resource allocation across automated and manual warehouse operations. The role ensures balanced workloads, optimal utilization of warehouse resources, and on-time customer deliveries while supporting operational performance, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Warehouse Planner acts as the central link between inbound, outbound, inventory management, customer fulfillment, and warehousing operations.
This role is part of the Global Spare Parts organization and plays a key role in the preparation and establishment of the new Spare Parts Distribution Center (SPDC) in Veghel. During the initial phase, the Warehouse Planner will be based at the current spare parts warehouse in Best, supporting daily operations while contributing to the design, implementation, and readiness of the future warehouse organization. Upon completion of the new SPDC facility on the Vanderlande campus, expected to become operational in Q3 2027, the position will relocate to Veghel and become part of the new warehouse operation.
Responsibilities
Wave Planning, Order Release and Trip Planning
- Plan, prioritize and release warehouse waves and shipment trips to ensure efficient order fulfillment and on-time customer deliveries.
Operational Planning and Control
- Develop and coordinate daily warehouse plans to optimize resource utilization, balance workload, and achieve operational performance targets.
New Warehouse Setup
- Act as a core team member in planning, coordinating, and executing the transition to the new warehouse facility, ensuring seamless operations during and after the move.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen projects to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Compliance and Safety
- Ensure all processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with operations, supply chain, and quality teams to align warehouse processes with overall business objectives.
What You Bring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse planning, workload balancing, and operational coordination.
- Strong knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL).
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); knowledge of LOCUS is a plus.
Skills
- Ability to translate customer demand into an executable warehouse plan.
- Understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.

This position offers a competitive salary range of € 3.800 to € 5.200 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).
