The position
Every internship at Kraft Heinz Netherlands offers unique learning opportunities to develop new knowledge and skills, gain real business experience, get exposure to senior leadership and attend personalized trainings.
As an intern in the demand planning and customer collaboration team for Benelux markets, you will own a full portfolio to familiarize yourself with operations and processes, understand planning with different stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Supply and Distributors) and collaborative efforts for consensus volume commitment. You will be part of day-to-day activities and report that feed planning and drive decision-making. You will also support the Demand Planning team in continuous improvement projects to enhance our capabilities and impact on our business.
As an intern at Kraft Heinz, you will be trusted with meaningful responsibilities from the start. Alongside your day-to-day work, you will have opportunities to develop your professional skills, learn how different functions work together and build relationships across an international business. You are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and bring a fresh perspective. You will receive support from colleagues while being expected to take ownership of agreed projects and deliverables.
What you’ll do:
- Lead continuous improvement projects within the o9 forecasting system to enhance forecast quality, process efficiency, and team adoption.
- Update of KPIs for the whole demand planning team.
Job requirements:
- EU/ EEA Students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for at least 50% of the internship period.
- Non – EU student: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university for the whole duration of the internship period.
- You are in your final year of bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Engineering / Supply Chain / Computer Science / Econometrics / Mathematics.
- You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have an EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands).
Professional Attributes:
- Computer proficiency: We spend lots of time on Excel. You need either good Excel knowledge or a willingness to learn. PowerQuery and AI prompting skills are a plus.
- Analytical mindset: We’re a data driven company. You know how to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Eagerness to learn about Supply Chain & Logistics in an international, fast-moving environment.
- Communication Skills: You will easily be exposed to senior management. Therefore, it’s important you can communicate clearly and confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
- High pressure: You don’t get easily stressed by pressure; a demanding and dynamic environment is what keeps you energized.
- Team player: Self-motivated, flexible and a team player who likes to work with people within a multicultural environment.

What we offer:
- Start date: Mid-February 2027
- Duration: 6 months
- Allowance: €625 per month (40 hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses
- Location: Amsterdam, hybrid (home working in alignment with the team)
