Job Description

Are you a customer service wizard with a love for hospitality and a commercial mindset? Then keep reading!

Zoku is a home for business travelers who want to live in a city for anywhere from a few days to a few months. We’re not your typical business hotel: we offer a relaxed place to stay, work and meet new people, while helping residents feel connected to the local scene. Our fresh take on hospitality has been recognized around the world with plenty of press attention and design awards.

We’re also proudly B Corp certified at all four of our locations (Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris and Vienna), which means we hold ourselves to high standards when it comes to social and environmental impact, transparency and accountability. At Zoku, you’ll join an international team of driven, proactive and fun-loving people who all share one thing: a passion for connecting people across the globe.

TELL ME MORE
As a Reservations Coordinator you are the primary point of contact for our future residents, creating unforgettable Zoku experiences before they even arrive. You’ll handle all communication via phone and email from our Support Office in Amsterdam, ensuring every guest feels supported and excited to stay with us.

You’ll engage with fascinating residents, partners, and bookers across all Zoku locations and play a key role in driving sales by converting inquiries into bookings. Get ready to build a loyal fanbase that will be forever devoted to Zoku, ensuring they'll never want to book or stay anywhere else in the city.

You will work from our Support Office in Amsterdam and will report to our Reservations Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

No day looks the same as a Reservations Coordinator… but here’s a glimpse of what you can expect:

Delivering Exceptional Customer Service: Provide top-notch service via phone and email to help future residents find their perfect stay and answer all pre-arrival questions.

Financial Administration Expertise: Handle financial responsibilities like a pro! Manage invoices, payments, and generate reports for reservations and revenue optimization, maximizing sales and revenue.

Effective Communication and Coaching: Become the voice of our online booking channels and forge strong relationships with our corporate bookers, all while guiding our Reservations interns and collaboration with our Sales Managers.

Boost bookings and build loyalty: Spot opportunities, upsell stays, and turn every inquiry into a Zoku fan, ensuring that Zoku is always their first choice when booking accommodation.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

  • A market-conform salary starting at €2,600 gross per month based on a full-time position, depending on your experience and know-how.

  • Cool benefits and perks, including various discounts, friends & family rates at all Zoku locations, discounted fitness offers, and a Swapfiets or travel allowance for your 1 km+ commute, as well as access to regular social events, after-work drinks and much more.

  • Opportunity to take part in volunteering activities during working hours.

  • A role at one of the 25 coolest hotels in the world, designed to feel like a second home and driven by purpose, while helping to shape the future of hospitality.

  • A workplace where your ideas matter and your impact is visible every day.

  • A fun, young and international team, with colleagues from all over the world and plenty of opportunities to connect and learn from each other.

WE LOVE PEOPLE WHO

  • Embrace a service-oriented mindset and consistently go the extra mile to provide exceptional service.

  • Radiate positivity and possess an infectious personality.

  • Exhibit creativity, enthusiasm, and an open approach to problem-solving.

  • Demonstrate superb organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and accuracy.

  • Thrive on achieving results and are adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess a genuine passion for hospitality.

  • Have experience with OTA's & PMS Systems.

A FEW MUST HAVES

  • You have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in hotel reservations/ reception or a service-oriented role.

  • You are fully flexible / no fixed working days/hours.

  • You are available full-time, 40 hours per week.

WHAT WE ARE PROUD OF

Zoku combines the energy of a lifestyle brand with the warmth of a close knit team. We challenge traditional hospitality by creating spaces where people genuinely connect, whether they’re staying for one night or several months.

Next to our award-winning design and our global press fan club, we’re proud to be a certified B Corp across all our locations, meaning we care deeply about people, community, and doing business with a heart (not just as a marketing line).

We’ve created a hive of private Lofts and rooftop Social Spaces, so you can stay connected and well rested as you live and work throughout Europe. Throw yourself into your work and play, and effortlessly discover one of our home cities. It will be your home city next.

About Zoku

Industry: Hospitality

Company size: 51-200 employees

Zoku provides a home for business travelers and remote workers who want to live and work in a city for a few days to a few months. We’re a new type of business hotel offering a relaxed place to live, cowork, and socialize – while wiring you into the local scene. Here's everything you need to know about us: THE END OF THE HOTEL ROOM Sleep, work, dine, repeat: all from your own private Zoku Loft. Bye-bye traditional hotel rooms. We did 150 interviews with our target audience and made 6 different prototypes to create the award-winning Zoku Loft: a spacious micro apartment designed for living comfortably and working efficiently. In a regular hotel room or studio apartment, the bed always dominates. In the Zoku Loft, the big kitchen table serves as a focal point, shifting the center of the space from the bed to the living room. Now you have a truly livable home to explore Paris and work abroad for as long as you want. ROOFTOP MEETING ROOMS & EVENT SPACES Say goodbye to boring conference rooms and dull events. Our rooftop meeting venue is designed to fuel connections, spark ideas, and drive productivity. All of our meeting rooms are flooded with natural light and have amazing views overlooking the city. On top of this, our friendly team of Sidekicks is on hand to help with whatever you may need, whether that’s providing delicious food and drinks from our on-site restaurant or helping you book an overnight stay in a Loft. Host a brainstorm session, networking event, presentation, or workshop, we can do it all! COWORKING & COMMUNITY Join a coworking community where everyone knows your name. Tons of natural light? Check! Inspiring spaces with friendly people? Double check! Discover our rooftop coworking spaces on the top floor of every Zoku. We offer Day Passes (with delicious lunch) and monthly coworking memberships. LOCATED IN LIVELY EUROPEAN CITIES Find us in some of Europe's most livable cities: Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris, Vienna, and more to come!
