Key Skills
Job Description
We are looking for a Dutch-Speaking Customer Support Representative to join our BUX team based in Amsterdam.
Looking to break into the fast-paced world of Fintech? Joining BUX as a Dutch-Speaking Customer Support Representative is one of the best ways to kickstart your career in finance and technology.
As a Dutch-speaking Customer Support Representative, you will be the primary link between BUX and our users across the Netherlands. You will solve day-to-day client queries and work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth product experience.
From day one, this role gives you direct, hands-on insight into how a modern European Fintech operates. Through your daily work, you’ll naturally build a solid understanding of our platform, financial products, and regulatory standards, while getting to see firsthand how teams like Operations, Compliance, Product, and Marketing collaborate to support our users.
BUX is evolving beyond investing. Together with ABN AMRO, we are expanding our platform to launch a dedicated Savings proposition - offering flexible savings accounts and term deposits with attractive interest rates alongside our existing investment features. As a new hire, you will play a key role in getting this major launch off the ground and making it a success, serving as the first line of support for clients navigating both savings and investing in one seamless environment.
What you will do
Build meaningful relationships with our users, delivering high-quality, efficient support via chat, email, and phone
Play a vital role in onboarding and supporting clients using our new dedicated Savings proposition (flexible savings & term deposits) alongside our core investment platform
Guide new users through the app and web platforms to ensure a smooth, welcoming onboarding experience
Stay ahead of the curve on new platform features, market updates, interest rates, and our expanding product suite
Collaborate directly with Product, Ops, and Compliance teams to resolve complex client queries quickly
Gather real user feedback on both savings and investing tools, sharing actionable insights across the business to improve our products
Assist with Dutch translations, customer communication content, and help keep our internal knowledge base accurate and up to date
Spot opportunities to make our operational workflows smarter, faster, and more client-friendly
What you need to succeed
Native/fluent proficiency in Dutch and full professional fluency in English (essential)
A recent Bachelor’s degree (WO/HBO) or equivalent experience
An eager, proactive "can-do" attitude
A genuine curiosity or interest in personal finance, financial markets, savings products, and investing
You have gained exceptional written and verbal communication skills from customer-facing roles, enabling you to know how to explain complex financial concepts clearly and warmly
A fast learner who thrives in a dynamic scale-up environment, takes ownership of challenges, and adapts well to change
Self-motivated when working independently, but always ready to jump in and support teammates
Availability to work 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling when needed
Why join BUX as a Customer Support Representative?
Gain 360-degree exposure to product development, compliance, operations, and banking integrations.
Directly contribute to launching a high-profile new Savings product built in partnership with ABN AMRO.
Work from our vibrant Amsterdam office alongside an international, energetic, and collaborative team.
Your work directly shapes the experience of hundreds of thousands of investors and savers across Europe.
