About the role:
Delivering 5-star coffee experiences requires more than outstanding products. It requires compelling product stories, convincing demonstrations, and clear consumer value propositions that help innovations stand out in a highly competitive market.
This role translates product innovations into compelling consumer benefits, product claims, demonstrations, and activation concepts that support successful product launches and strengthen consumer preference.
The position operates with User Experience Research team and at the intersection of Product Management, Marketing, Innovation, Engineering.
It combines product storytelling, claims development, competitive intelligence, and consumer activation. The role uses consumer insights and works with UXR, while UXR owns research execution.
The impact you’ll make:
Claims, Product Demonstrations & Consumer Storytelling
• Translate technical product features and innovations into clear, compelling, and consumer-relevant benefits.
• Develop product claims and distinctive demonstrations that make product benefits tangible for internal and external audiences.
• Support claim substantiation and validation in collaboration with UXR, Engineering, Legal, and technical experts.
• Ensure claims, demos, and value propositions are ready for key projects and launch milestones.
• Facilitate cross-functional workshops to define consumer value, claim territories, reasons to believe, and demonstration opportunities.
• Maintaining claims, evidence, and the approved claims repository across coffee category;
Competitive Intelligence & Trend Scouting
• Monitor competitor launches, product propositions, claims, demonstrations, and communication approaches across coffee and adjacent categories.
• Benchmark competitor products and experiences to identify meaningful differences, white spaces, and communication opportunities.
• Translate external developments into concise updates, inspiration, and actionable recommendations for Product, Marketing, Innovation, and UXR teams.
Consumer Understanding & Insight Integration
• Leverage existing consumer, market, UXR, and sensory insights to strengthen product positioning and activation.
• Collaborate with UXR to identify learning gaps and define focused research and validation activities when needed.
• Use consumer feedback, Ratings & Reviews, social listening, and market intelligence as inputs for claims and activation decisions.
• Ensure consumer language and real usage context remain visible in product stories and demonstrations.
The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:
Required
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field: Marketing, Product Management, Communication, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Product Marketing, Consumer Activation, Product Management, Claims Development, Product Demonstration, Consumer Research or a related discipline.
• Clear storyteller: simplifies technical complexity into simple and compelling consumer benefits.
• Ability to work independently, solve new problems, and lead cross-functional projects with limited guidance.
• Hands-on and curious: comfortable engaging directly with products, prototypes, experts, and users. Balances robust proof with speed, feasibility, and launch needs.
• Externally oriented: actively looks beyond internal knowledge for inspiration and emerging developments.
• Commercially minded: Connects product superiority with consumer relevance and market impact.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
Readiness to come to the office 3 days a week
Nice to Have
• Experience in Domestic Appliances, Coffee, Food & Beverage, or adjacent consumer product categories.
• Background in Consumer Insights, UX Research, Market Research, or qualitative and quantitative research methods.
• Knowledge of sensory science or sensory evaluation methods.
• Coffee tasting, barista, or broader coffee industry experience.
