Job Description

DeltaQuad is growing internationally, and we're building a dedicated Product Management department to drive our product roadmap and specifications.

As a Product Manager, you'll connect complex hardware and software capabilities with market needs, define new product releases, and help deliver innovative solutions to defense, security, and government customers worldwide.

Do you have a strong technical background, experience with hardware/software integration, and a passion for product management? We'd love to meet you!

The role

Reporting to the Lead Product Manager, you'll join our newly established Product Management department and help shape DeltaQuad's product strategy, roadmap, and specifications.

You'll define product releases, manage complex hardware and software integrations, and work closely with cross-functional teams to turn market needs into reliable, high-impact product capabilities.

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage Product configurations & lifecycles: Define and maintain a database of product baselines, track variant configurations, and manage changes across hardware and software lifecycles to ensure end-to-end traceability and consistency.

  • Define release scope & requirements: Scope new product releases and translate market needs into clear, actionable technical specifications and requirements.

  • Lead system integrations: Drive product specifications for hardware and software integrations, including payloads, communication technologies, and positioning/navigation systems.

  • Build product knowledge: Expand and maintain DeltaQuad’s internal product knowledge base, ensuring product capabilities and specifications are well-documented, organized, and easily accessible.

  • Drive internal communication: Actively inform departments across the organization about the product portfolio, new capabilities, and upcoming releases.

  • Serve as product SME: Act as the internal Subject Matter Expert (go-to person) for product-related questions regarding variants, capabilities, specifications, and performance.

  • Monitor market trends: Continuously analyze market developments, competitor moves, and emerging technologies within the autonomous systems, UAV, and defense sectors.

  • Shape PM practices: Contribute to defining and maturing the practices, frameworks, and methodologies of DeltaQuad’s newly formed Product Management department.

What we're looking for

We are looking for a Product Manager who combines a strong technical foundation with a disciplined approach to hardware/software product management.

You’ll likely bring:

  • A university degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Aerospace, or a related technical discipline.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a Product Management role within a high-tech or complex technology environment.

  • Proven experience managing mixed hardware/software products (e.g., robotics, aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, IoT, or complex mechatronics). Please note: this role is not suitable for software-only product managers.

  • Deep understanding of core Product Management methodologies, lifecycle management, configuration management and roadmap development.

  • Demonstrated track record with system-level integrations (e.g., payloads, sensor suites, radio/communication networks, or positioning technologies).

  • A highly structured and organized way of working.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to bridge business, operational, and engineering perspectives.

Why join DeltaQuad?

Join a fast-growing international technology company where you'll help shape our Product Management discipline and influence the future of autonomous drone technology. You'll work with passionate colleagues on innovative products that make a real-world impact.

What we offer:

  • A competitive salary and employment package.

  • 27 days of annual leave based on a full-time contract.

  • An excellent pension scheme through the PME Pension Fund.

  • The opportunity to build and lead a function with real strategic impact.

  • Excellent opportunities for personal and professional development.

  • Daily lunch provided by DeltaQuad.

  • Monthly team drinks and regular team activities.

Research shows that some people only apply when they meet every requirement. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't tick every box, we'd still love to hear from you.

Please note that, as part of our recruitment process, we may request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and conduct a background screening in accordance with our screening policy. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation throughout this process.

Core Responsibilities

The Product Manager will define product roadmaps, manage hardware and software configurations, and translate market needs into technical specifications. They will also act as a subject matter expert and facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to ensure product consistency.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a university degree in a technical discipline and possess at least 5 years of experience in product management for complex hardware/software systems. Strong skills in lifecycle management, system-level integration, and stakeholder communication are essential.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • 27 days of annual leave
  • Pension scheme
  • Daily lunch
  • Monthly team drinks
  • Team activities
  • Professional development
