Job Description
Location: Bali, Indonesia (On-site only) Compensation: Unpaid Internship (with potential for full-time transition) You'll work on real media projects across our portfolio companies, creating video content around our teams, products, projects, events, and day-to-day work in Bali. This is hands-on media work. You'll shoot, edit, and deliver content regularly, from short-form social videos and event coverage to project updates, interviews, and longer-form content. Our group has spent thirty years building companies across New York, London, and Tokyo. Today, our teams operate from a 4,000 sqm campus in Canggu, Bali. Across the group, we have raised and deployed more than $150M and operate portfolio companies across energy, bioproduction, and AI infrastructure. Depending on team needs, current projects, and your interests, you may work across: Zero-X Thermochemical conversion and distributed energy, with 200+ systems live across 11 countries. Seraph Group Decentralized bioproduction combining AI, robotics, and synthetic biology on one platform. Gemino AI The AI infrastructure layer supporting systems and workflows across the group. Your media work may include: Shooting video content for projects, teams, events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage Editing short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, presentations, and campaigns Planning shots, framing, lighting, sound, and basic production setups Creating fast-turnaround content around events and ongoing projects Organizing footage, project files, and media assets Working with team members to turn technical or business projects into clear and engaging visual stories Supporting photography and other visual content when needed The focus is not on academic exercises. You will work on media connected to real companies, real projects, and real events. We're looking for candidates who: Have completed or are close to completing a university degree in Media Production, Film, Digital Media, Communications, Content Creation, Marketing, or a closely related field Have a solid understanding of video production, storytelling, composition, and pacing Have hands-on skills with cameras, microphones, lighting, production equipment, and editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut) Have experience through university projects, internships, personal projects, or other practical media work Can work independently, learn quickly, and solve production problems Are able to work fully on-site in Bali for 4-6 months This internship can also be completed as part of a university internship requirement. We don't expect you to already know our production pipeline, but you should have a strong media foundation and be able to shoot and edit. What we provide: 4-6 month internship in Bali, Indonesia 25-hour work week: 11 AM to 5 PM On-campus rooms available at competitive rates Daily lunch included Strong interns can move into a full-time role across the group after the internship Important: This is an unpaid internship. The position is fully on-site in Bali, Indonesia. There is no remote or hybrid option.
Core Responsibilities
Shoot and edit short- and long-form video content for portfolio companies, including projects, teams, events, interviews, and behind-the-scenes coverage. Plan and set up productions, organize media assets, and turn technical or business work into clear visual stories for social media, websites, presentations, and campaigns.
Requirements
Candidates should have completed or be close to completing a university degree in media production, film, digital media, communications, content creation, marketing, or a related field, and have practical media production experience. They should understand video production and storytelling, be comfortable with cameras, microphones, lighting, production equipment, and editing software, and be able to work independently on-site in Bali for 4–6 months.
