Imaging Lead Engineer 📍 Eindhoven, Netherlands | Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) About the client: IQSIGHT is part of the Keenfinity Group, a global technology leader in security, communication, and electronics solutions. This is an opportunity to take technical ownership of advanced imaging systems, shaping everything from image sensors and optics to ISP architecture, image quality optimization, and AI-driven image enhancement used in next-generation security and video platforms. The Opportunity As the Imaging Lead Engineer, you will drive the technical direction of the complete imaging pipeline, working across image sensors, optics, ISP architecture, image quality tuning, and AI-based image enhancement. • Lead the design and evolution of imaging system architecture • Evaluate and optimize ISP performance and image quality • Integrate camera SDKs, imaging frameworks, and image processing algorithms • Drive AI-enhanced imaging and image quality innovations • Troubleshoot complex imaging and performance challenges • Collaborate with software, hardware, optics, and product teams • Coach and mentor imaging engineers while promoting engineering excellence • Work closely with technology partners and suppliers to bring new imaging technologies into production Key requirements ✔ 8+ years' experience in imaging systems, ISP development, or image processing ✔ Strong understanding of camera pipelines, image quality tuning, and imaging architectures ✔ Experience within embedded or real-time systems ✔ Python and/or C/C++ development skills ✔ Proven technical leadership experience Nice to Have ➕ AI/ML image enhancement experience ➕ Camera sensors and optics expertise ➕ Experience working with external technology partners What's on Offer • Competitive salary and bonus • 27 vacation days + 13 ADV days • Flexible hybrid working model • International and highly innovative environment • The opportunity to work on cutting-edge imaging technology used worldwide
Core Responsibilities
Lead the technical direction and evolution of the imaging pipeline, including sensors, optics, ISP architecture, image quality optimization, and AI-based enhancement. Integrate imaging technologies and resolve complex performance issues while collaborating across teams, mentoring engineers, and working with technology partners and suppliers.
Requirements
Requires 8+ years of experience in imaging systems, ISP development, or image processing, with strong knowledge of camera pipelines, image quality tuning, and imaging architectures. Candidates should have embedded or real-time systems experience, Python and/or C/C++ skills, and proven technical leadership; AI/ML enhancement, sensor and optics expertise, and partner experience are advantageous.
