As a Meeting & Events Specialist (f/m/d) you are responsible for the processing and organization of all events for meetings, incentives, conferences, events and groups as well as their detailed planning in direct cooperation with the customers. Your Role at a Glance As Meeting & Events Specialist you are responsible for sales and organizing events in NH Conference Centre Koningshof. At Meeting & Events you can think of meetings, conferences, gala dinners and much more. You are responsible for sales and all the associated negotiations, as well as the further preparations to make sure every event is a success. You are the point of contact for the contact person of the event, and you ensure that everything is tightly organized to guarantee guests a unique experience in your hotel. In addition, you ensure clear communication with colleagues from the operational departments, and you contribute to the service level in the hotel. Finally, you are also the event manager during major events, during these events you will make sure the entire event runs smoothly, and you act as the connector between the operational departments and the contact person. Core Responsibilities

Sell, plan, and organize meetings, conferences, gala dinners, and other events, including negotiating with customers and preparing event details. Serve as the customer’s main contact and, for major events, manage on-site delivery while coordinating with operational departments.

Requirements

The role calls for a guest-focused, flexible, accurate team player with strong communication and commercial skills, including the ability to persuade customers and upsell. Excellent command of Dutch and English is required, along with the ability to stay organized, anticipate needs, and coordinate effectively with customers and colleagues.
