🌍 We’re Hiring: Logistics Team Lead (French) 📍 Woerden, Netherlands | Full-time Would you like to use your logistics expertise to contribute to stronger global health supply chains? The Partnership for Supply Chain Management (PFSCM) is looking for an experienced Logistics Team Lead (French) to join our international team in Woerden. PFSCM works to strengthen secure, reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable global supply chains, helping improve access to quality and affordable health products in low- and middle-income countries. About the role As Logistics Team Lead, you will lead and support a team of Logistics Specialists responsible for the end-to-end coordination of international shipments of health-related commodities. You will oversee shipments from goods readiness through export, transportation, customs clearance and final delivery, while working closely with our clients, suppliers, 3PL partners and internal teams. You will also play an important role in developing your team, improving logistics processes and ensuring that we continue to meet our customer commitments and performance targets. What will you be doing? • Lead, coach and support a team of Logistics Specialists • Oversee international shipments and end-to-end delivery performance • Act as the first point of escalation for logistics and delivery challenges • Monitor and improve OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance • Work closely with 3PLs, vendors, clients and other stakeholders • Identify opportunities to reduce delays, demurrage, detention and other additional costs • Manage shipment incidents and support corrective actions • Ensure accurate logistics and ERP data and reporting • Support continuous improvement of logistics processes, SOPs and work instructions • Manage onboarding, training and performance development within the team What are we looking for? You bring: 🎓 A Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, freight or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience 📦 At least 7 years of progressive experience in complex supply chain and/or transport operations 👥 Experience leading, coaching and developing others 📊 Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills 🤝 A strong customer-service mindset and ability to work with international stakeholders 💻 Strong Microsoft Office skills 🌍 Fluency in both English and French ✈️ Willingness to travel when required 🇳🇱 Eligibility to work in the Netherlands Why PFSCM? Core Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team of Logistics Specialists while overseeing international health-commodity shipments from goods readiness through final delivery. Manage delivery performance and escalations, coordinate with clients and logistics partners, address shipment incidents and additional costs, and improve logistics processes, reporting, and team performance.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, freight, or a related field—or equivalent relevant experience—is required, along with at least seven years of progressive experience in complex supply chain or transport operations. Candidates should have experience leading and developing others, strong analytical and organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, Microsoft Office proficiency, fluency in English and French, willingness to travel, and eligibility to work in the Netherlands.
