For our Finance team at Carhartt EMEA/PAC, we are now looking for a new team member: Financial Controller In cooperation with the Manager Finance, the Financial Controller is responsible for the preparation, consolidation, and reporting of the monthly- and annual financial accounts of Carhartt Holdings (EMEA/PAC). The role assists the Manager Finance in preparing the yearly financial budgets of Carhartt Holdings and related companies. The Financial Controller has a variety of duties and responsibilities, leading to accurate, timely and efficient financial processes. The Financial Controller reports to the Manager Finance (member of the EMEA Sr. Management Team) and works closely with all members of the finance team as well as other teams. The Financial Controller replaces the Sr. Financial Administrator when absent. Duties and responsibilities: Work closely with the Manager Finance and act as a business partner to the department managers (Management Team); understand business objectives and goals as well as business/finance best practices to recommend improvements to financial processes to drive financial efficiency. Full ownership (analysis, reconciliation and reporting) of financial administration of all entities. In collaboration with the Manager Finance, manage and coordinate monthly and yearly closing. Liaise with the external auditors during the annual year end audit. In collaboration with the Manager Finance, direct the annual budgeting and forecasting processes and coordinate consolidation of the EMEA/PAC company budgets, financial plans and departmental budgets with the department leaders (Management Team) as well as the global Finance & Accounting Team. Control and analyze financial data and processes in preparation for monthly and yearly closing, such as: P&L variances. Discounts and margins. Invoices and goods still to be received. Stock discrepancies (GL journal entries); reconciliation of stock and administration in SAP. Costs third parties/suppliers (warehouse, courier etc.). Stock management reporting. Support and oversee the activities of the Accounts Payable team which are: Processing of purchase invoices from Carhartt Inc. and licensee partners. Processing of purchase invoices for general expenses. Reconciliation / matching purchase invoices with purchase orders. Reconciliation of the intercompany accounts with affiliated companies. Accurate and timely VAT declarations in several European countries. Accurate payment and matching of all purchase invoices (general expenses). Processing of E-com sales and expenses. Team lead Accounts Payable. Assist the Manager Finance with the pricing process (from cost price to selling price, margins etc.). Support the Manager Finance in overseeing and managing the financial activities related to import duties/warehousing. Understand the objectives of the business, pro-actively analyzing reported metrics and data to gather information and prepare monthly reports for (Senior) Management Team reviews. Collaborate with the US Finance team regarding monthly/quarterly/yearly financial closing activities. Contribute to meeting the KPI’s, targets and deadlines of the Finance team. Leadership skills (supervisor level): Establish team leadership through demonstrating expertise and ability to lead and train direct reports; inspire team / direct reports to contribute to team and company success. Actively share information with team and communicate clearly about short term and long-term strategies, plans and related goals. Act respectfully and ensure that team members feel heard and understood, valued, and supported. Effective and empathetic team lead and communicator; communicates in a clear, concise, and organized manner. What are you bringing to the table? Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Control, Business Administration or related field. 3-5 years of relevant working experience, of which 1- 2 years in a finance and/or accounting role including consolidation of accounts and international VAT declarations. Strongly developed numerical insight and analytical ability. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to manage several tasks concurrently and keep overview. Proactive thinker who will support Manager Finance and finance team members with administrative and organizational process insights. Working experience in an international or global wholesale organization or retail / consumer goods organization. Demonstrated leadership skills (minimum of 1 year). Strong Microsoft Office skills; high level of proficiency in Excel and SAP S4/HANA. Working knowledge of Power BI is advantageous. Strong communication skills and multi-lingual abilities: excellent (business) level of the English language both written and verbal, proficient knowledge of the Dutch language is an advantage. Employee Benefits: Salary range for this role: € 4.600 – € 5.750 gross per month, depending on level of expertise and work experience. We offer a performance-based bonus, non-guaranteed, based on (global) company/team/individual annual goals. We start with a 7-month contract, followed by a 1-year contract. We do not offer sponsorship for this role. Core Responsibilities

Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Finance and Control, Business Administration, or a related field is required, along with 3–5 years of relevant experience, including finance or accounting work involving account consolidation and international VAT declarations. Candidates should have at least one year of leadership experience, strong analytical and numerical skills, advanced Excel and SAP S/4HANA proficiency, and excellent business English; Dutch and Power BI knowledge are advantageous.
