About the role United Imaging Healthcare is a global innovator in advanced medical imaging, radiotherapy and intelligent digital healthcare solutions. We are looking for a motivated intern to join our European HR team and help improve the employee and people leader experience across our European markets. Working closely with the HR team, you will help translate business priorities into clear HR processes, practical resources and actionable insights. You will gain hands-on experience in HR policy development, process improvement, HR data management and cross-border HR operations. Your responsibilities HR Policy & Process Development (60%) Help develop and standardize HR processes covering onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and offboarding. Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), process maps, templates and practical guidance for cross-border HR operations. Help make HR policies and processes clear, accessible and easy for employees and people leaders to use. Business Partnership Support (15%) Support organizational design and workforce planning activities through data collection, analysis and preparation of supporting materials. HR Operations & Systems Support (25%) Help standardize contract management processes and maintain accurate, organized HR records. Support HR operations across the employee lifecycle. Assist with HR system implementation and configuration activities, including systems such as SuccessFactors. Maintain HR data and prepare reports for management review. Support country-specific HR administration and compliance activities under the guidance of the HR team. What you bring Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, Economics or a related field. Strong analytical, organizational and project coordination skills. Confidence using Excel, PowerPoint and digital collaboration tools. Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and an understanding of their responsible use, including when handling confidential information. Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage. A proactive, structured approach, with strong attention to detail and follow-through. The ability to collaborate with stakeholders across functions, markets and cultures. An interest in improving employee experience through clear processes, reliable data and practical HR solutions. Build practical skills in data analysis, project coordination, process improvement and stakeholder management. Internship details Duration: Six months, with the possibility of extension depending on performance, business needs and continued student eligibility. Working hours: 32–40 hours per week. Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week at our Rotterdam office. Internship format: This is a hands-on internship focused on practical HR projects and day-to-day activities. It is not suitable for a thesis or graduation assignment.

Core Responsibilities

Help develop and standardize HR policies, processes, procedures, and resources across European markets, including onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and offboarding. Support workforce planning, contract management, HR operations and systems, data reporting, and country-specific administration and compliance.

Requirements

Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Business, Economics, or a related field, and should have strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills. They should be confident with Excel, PowerPoint, and digital collaboration tools; communicate fluently in English; and demonstrate attention to detail, responsible use of AI tools, and cross-cultural collaboration.
