Financieel Administratief Medewerker / Financial Administrative Assistant Part-time or Full-time / 20-40 hours a week / Flexible working hours At Vertico we develop advanced robotic additive manufacturing solutions for concrete printing that push the boundaries of large-scale 3D printing. We combine robotics, automation, software and engineering to create technologies used by innovators in architecture, infrastructure and construction worldwide. As an international and growing technology company, we are looking for a Finance & Administration Specialist to take responsibility for our day-to-day financial administration and help us keep the financial side of the business organized, accurate and running smoothly. Your Role You will be the central point of contact for the day-to-day financial administration of Vertico. You will handle incoming and outgoing invoices, payments, financial records and communication with our external accountant. This is a hands-on role in a relatively small and entrepreneurial company. That means we are looking for someone who is comfortable taking responsibility, working independently and helping out where needed rather than working within a narrowly defined corporate job description. Depending on your experience and interests, there is room to expand the position into areas such as financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management and management information as Vertico continues to grow. Responsibilities Process and manage incoming supplier invoices. Prepare and manage outgoing customer invoices. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare and process payments. Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up where necessary. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation. Reconcile financial information and help ensure our administration is complete and up to date. Act as the primary liaison with our external accountant. Prepare and provide the information required for VAT returns, annual accounts and other financial reporting. Support management with financial overviews and information when required. Help improve and professionalize our financial and administrative processes as the company grows. Assist with other administrative and organizational activities where needed. What We’re Looking For We are flexible regarding your exact background. Experience and reliability are more important to us than having a particular degree or career path. Ideally, you: Have experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, accounting or a similar role. Are comfortable working with invoices, payments, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Work accurately and have a strong eye for detail. Are organized and able to keep track of deadlines and outstanding actions. Can work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities. Are comfortable communicating with accountants, suppliers, customers and colleagues. Are comfortable working with financial software and Excel. Speak Dutch and have a good working knowledge of English. Enjoy working in a small, international and entrepreneurial environment. Are practical and flexible and don’t mind occasionally helping with something outside your formal responsibilities. Experience working within an SME, startup, scale-up or international business is an advantage. Core Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day financial administration, including supplier and customer invoices, payments, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and accurate financial records. Liaise with the external accountant, provide information for VAT returns and annual accounts, support management with financial information, and help improve administrative processes.
Requirements
Candidates should ideally have experience in financial administration, bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role, and be comfortable handling invoices, payments, financial software, and Excel. Accuracy, organization, independence, communication skills, Dutch fluency, and a good working knowledge of English are sought; no specific degree is required.
