Within our Rare Diseases category, the Metabolics portfolio plays a crucial role in supporting patients living with rare metabolic disorders. As part of the Global Metabolics Acceleration team, you will help create clarity and impact throughout the patient product journey by making our diverse portfolio more accessible and engaging for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and internal stakeholders. In this internship, you will be part of the Global Metabolics Acceleration team within our Specialized Nutrition Rare Diseases business. Our purpose is to improve the lives of patients by delivering innovative nutritional solutions and meaningful support throughout their healthcare journey. During this internship, you will collaborate with global marketing, medical, and local market teams while supporting key initiatives across content creation, community engagement, and congress planning. Your main responsibilities include Supporting the transformation and optimization of global assets for key metabolic conditions; Supporting the organization and content creation for international congresses and events; Bringing new insights into competitive landscapes, services, and content strategies; Maintaining and enhancing our global Metabolics content hub to enable efficient content sharing across countries; Engaging and activating the global Metabolics community through Workplace communications and monthly country meetings. You enjoy working with different stakeholders, can translate complex information into clear and engaging content, and are comfortable balancing multiple projects at the same time. On top of that, you're a curious and proactive self-starter who is always looking for opportunities to learn, improve, and make an impact. There are also some compulsory requirements Enrolled as a Bachelor’s or Master’s student during the entire internship period; Ideally available to start in January 2027 for a minimum of 12 months (6 months + possible 6-month extension), 5 days per week; Additional Requirements You are studying Marketing, Business, Communications, Healthcare Management, Life Sciences, or a related field; You have a strong interest in medical marketing, healthcare, or nutrition; You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; You are proactive, organized, and able to work independently; You are fluent in English, both spoken and written; You are able to work from our Hoofddorp office; Please note that if you are relocating from abroad, you will need to arrange your own accommodation and obtain a BSN number; If you are a non-EU citizen, you must be enrolled at a Dutch university throughout the internship period. Core Responsibilities

Support the adaptation and optimization of global marketing assets, create content, and help organize international congresses and events. Maintain the global Metabolics content hub, research competitive and content strategies, and engage the global community through communications and country meetings.

Requirements

Applicants must remain enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program throughout the internship and should be available for at least 12 months, five days per week, starting ideally in January 2027. Relevant fields include marketing, business, communications, healthcare management, or life sciences; candidates should have an interest in healthcare or nutrition, strong communication and organizational skills, fluent English, and the ability to work from the Hoofddorp office.
