Are you an expert in quality assurance and packaging, with a passion for the beauty industry? Innovative Beauty Group (IBG) is looking for an Interim QA/QC Packaging Specialist to play a key role in the development of new packaging for innovative cosmetic products. There is a good chance that one of our products is already in your home! What will you do as Interim QA/QC Specialist? As an Interim QA/QC Packaging Specialist, you will be a driving force behind the quality of our packaging. You will develop and implement quality plans that help raise our packaging standards, ensure that processes comply with applicable EU legislation and regulations, and support internal teams—including Product Development and Project Management—with customer queries relating to quality assurance. Alongside your Quality Assurance responsibilities, you will play an important role in Quality Control. You will conduct sample inspections to assess the quality and functionality of packaging and report your findings in detail. When defects are identified, you will use your technical knowledge of cosmetic packaging to investigate root causes quickly and propose effective corrective and preventive actions. This is an interim position. You will join the team for a defined period to provide specialist QA/QC packaging expertise and support business continuity, ongoing projects and quality improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities: Develop, establish and maintain quality procedures, standards and specifications for EU suppliers; Read and write technical manuals and documentation; Support the preparation of work instructions and procedures; Collaborate with colleagues to identify, develop and implement quality initiatives; Complete documentation in customer portals relating to product specifications and certificates; Proactively build and maintain insight into the quality portfolio of preferred suppliers, supporting customer requests for new projects; Carry out quality and functionality checks on packaging samples; Investigate packaging-related quality issues, identify root causes and propose corrective and preventive actions; Support the registration, follow-up and resolution of quality complaints; As a quality-management specialist within IBG, you will set the standard for quality assurance and help us deliver on our commitments to both internal and external stakeholders. Your profile You bring a fresh perspective, a strong vision and a genuine passion for quality. As an Interim QA/QC Packaging Specialist, you have a solid technical foundation and can work independently in a dynamic project environment. In addition, you: Have higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, with the ability to apply this in day-to-day work; Have experience handling quality complaints, including problem-solving, investigation and reporting; Have technical knowledge of packaging and packaging engineering and can identify and resolve quality issues efficiently; Have preferably worked with PPWR and complaint registration systems/processes; Are familiar with EU legislation and regulations relevant to packaging and cosmetic products; Are fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken. German is an advantage; Are independent, professional and self-motivated, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at different levels; Are available to work in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit. Requirements

Requires higher professional education (HBO) level of working and thinking, experience investigating and reporting quality complaints, and technical knowledge of packaging and packaging engineering. Candidates should understand relevant EU packaging and cosmetic regulations, preferably have experience with PPWR and complaint registration processes, be fluent in Dutch and English, and be eligible to work in the Netherlands with a valid work permit.
