Hybrid | 32 - 40 hours | €6,300- €7,800 We’re looking for a Senior Energy Expert to help ACC turn complex challenges in the energy transition into concrete projects, propositions, and solutions. If you enjoy working on new markets, flexibility, grid congestion, digitalization, and smart software solutions, and you want to work on projects that are actually built, implemented and used, this could be a good fit. What you'll do You’ll work at the intersection of energy markets, strategy, technology, and practical delivery. You’ll be a substantive sparring partner for clients, colleagues, and partners, and take a leading role in complex projects. You’ll help clients and colleagues translate market developments into concrete opportunities, project initiatives, and workable solutions. You’ll work closely with Business Development, energy experts, software developers, and architects. You’ll help shape strategic programs for energy companies, asset owners, aggregators, grid operators, and innovative market players. You’ll also contribute to proposals, project scoping and the translation of client needs into practical solutions. You’ll advise on topics such as flexibility, congestion management, trading optimisation, BSP/BRP processes, energy markets and new market models. You may also contribute to thought leadership, white papers, presentations and workshops. What you bring Must have: At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in the energy sector In-depth knowledge of energy markets, flexibility, trading, congestion and related topics Experience with consultancy, business development or strategic projects The ability to quickly analyze and structure complex challenges Strong communication skills in Dutch and English Experience bringing clients and stakeholders along in a vision and approach An entrepreneurial mindset and the drive to take ownership Nice to have: Experience with software, data or automation projects in the energy sector Experience as a substantive project lead or lead consultant Knowledge of BSP/BRP processes, trading optimization or asset control Experience developing propositions, partnerships or new services Experience with workshops, white papers, presentations, or other forms of thought leadership What we offer A gross salary range of €6,300 – €7,800 per month, depending on your level of relevant experience Flexibility in how and when you work. Core Responsibilities

Lead complex energy-sector projects and advise clients on energy markets, flexibility, congestion management, trading optimization, and new market models. Shape strategic programs and practical solutions with business development, energy, software, and architecture teams, while contributing to proposals, workshops, and thought leadership.

Requirements

Requires 5–8 years of relevant energy-sector experience, in-depth knowledge of energy markets and related topics, and experience in consultancy, business development, or strategic projects. Candidates must be able to structure complex challenges, communicate in Dutch and English, bring clients and stakeholders along, and take ownership with an entrepreneurial mindset.
