For the HR team supporting the Logistics operation, we are looking for an HR Support Officer. You will work primarily from the Tilburg location, with approximately one day per week in Delft. About the role As HR Support Officer, you make sure the HR administration behind the organization is accurate, complete and up to date. This is a hands-on and administrative HR role with a strong focus on systems, payroll data and reporting. You will process employee information in Workday and ADP, prepare contracts and onboarding and offboarding documentation, support absence administration and provide accurate information to payroll providers. Data accuracy is an important part of your role. You will regularly cross-check information between different systems, prepare monthly HR KPI reports and work extensively with Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP. You will work closely with the HR team and have regular contact with employees, managers, payroll providers and other external partners. What will you do? Your main responsibilities will be: Process and maintain HR administration in Workday, ensuring employee data is complete, accurate and up to date. Perform administrative activities in ADP, process payroll-related employee data and communicate relevant information and changes to payroll providers supporting the Netherlands and six smaller European countries. Prepare and process onboarding and offboarding documentation, including employment contracts and other employee documentation. Manage absence registration and follow-up, including communication with the occupational health service (Arbo) when required. Perform regular cross-checks between different HR and payroll systems to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. Prepare monthly HR KPI reports and provide ad-hoc HR data and reports when required. Manage Time & Attendance administration, reporting and follow-up. Maintain accurate administration related to pension, health, insurance and employee benefits. Act as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding day-to-day operational HR and administrative questions. You will work closely with the broader HR team and actively support the HR Support team and the three HR Business Partners with processes such as performance management, competency evaluations and case management. What are we looking for? For this position, we are primarily looking for someone who is administratively strong, accurate and comfortable working with data and systems. You enjoy checking whether information is correct, notice discrepancies and make sure changes are processed properly and on time. You also enjoy working with people. Although much of the role is administrative, you will regularly communicate with employees, managers, payroll providers and other external partners. In addition: You have experience in an administrative or support position; previous HR experience is an advantage. An HR-related education or background is preferred. You have good Excel skills, including experience with VLOOKUP. You are comfortable working with different systems and processing large amounts of employee data accurately. Experience with Workday and/or ADP is a strong advantage. You have a good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken. You are accurate, structured, hands-on and service-oriented. Knowledge of Dutch absence legislation, including the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter, is an advantage. You live within commuting distance of Tilburg. You have a driving licence, as you will travel to the Delft office maximum once a week. What does Samsung SDS offer? A gross monthly salary between €3,200 and €3,400 based on full-time employment. An annual bonus of 0.5 month’s salary. Fully covered healthcare insurance. A full-time position, with 32 hours per week negotiable. Requirements
The role calls for experience in an administrative or support position, with HR experience and an HR-related educational background preferred. Candidates should have strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP, confidence working with HR systems and large datasets, good written and spoken Dutch and English, and a structured, accurate, hands-on, service-oriented approach; Workday or ADP experience, Dutch absence-law knowledge, residence within commuting distance of Tilburg, and a driving licence are advantages or stated expectations.
