About The Role As a Database Administrator, you will make an impact by operating, monitoring, and supporting on-premises database environments — delivering proactive performance management, backup and recovery, and schema lifecycle services in accordance with established standards. You will be a valued member of the Database Services team and work collaboratively with the Database Services Lead, application teams, and key stakeholders to ensure the availability, integrity, and performance of critical production databases. In This Role, You Will Monitor database performance and availability across enterprise environments; detect, isolate, diagnose, and resolve incidents — including coordinating planned and unplanned database startups, shutdowns, and outage communications to relevant stakeholders Perform schema lifecycle management including refresh, migration, recovery, and decommissioning; promote database objects across development, test, and production environments; and install patches and perform upgrades as directed Maintain backup processes, schedules, and replication activities (streams, materialized views, third-party tools); implement standby and Data Guard management and recovery procedures; and maintain rollback plans for database migrations Execute health checks and generate reports (AWR/Stats, alert logs, trace files, tablespace and data file capacity); maintain scheduled jobs, administrative scripts, and query log data for auditing purposes Administer logins, passwords, and resource limits per security guidelines; configure and monitor DB maintenance plans; and provide daily ticket reports and monthly reporting on accomplishments, volumes, outstanding issues, and proactive DBA activities Work model We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. What you need to have to be considered 4+ years of hands-on DBA experience across Oracle and/or SQL Server (or equivalent RDBMS) in an enterprise environment Strong skills in backup and recovery, replication, performance tuning, and schema lifecycle management, including Data Guard and standby database configuration Proven experience supporting 24x7x365 production databases with on-call rotation responsibilities Proficiency with AWR/Stats tooling, Enterprise Manager (EM), and backup and replication tools in an on-premises database environment Familiarity with change management processes, compliance and security review participation, and the ability to generate clear technical reports and documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders These will help you stand out Experience with materialized views, streams, or third-party replication tooling Prior exposure to large-scale enterprise governance and compliance frameworks Background in supporting multi-database environments across mixed OS platforms We're excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways. Core Responsibilities

Requirements
Requires at least four years of hands-on enterprise DBA experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or an equivalent RDBMS, including production on-call support. Candidates should have strong backup and recovery, replication, performance tuning, schema management, Data Guard, AWR/Stats, and Enterprise Manager experience, along with familiarity with change management, compliance, security reviews, and technical documentation.
