MIMETAS is looking for a full-time Supply Chain Manager for our production site in Enschede. You will coordinate purchasing, operational procurement, inventory management, warehousing, production planning, order processing, international logistics, import/export, customs, and related financial administration for our Enschede and Leiden production sites. You will work closely with Production, Finance, Sales, Quality, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure the timely availability of materials for our manufacturing and products for our customers. Your tasks will include Managing the end-to-end supply chain, including purchasing, inventory management, warehousing, order processing, and logistics; Coordinating import, export, customs, tax, and shipping processes, including collaboration with carriers, brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders; Translating sales forecasts and production plans into purchasing, inventory, and logistics requirements across locations; Supporting sales-related and financial administration, including purchase and sales orders, invoice reconciliation, cost monitoring, and budget tracking; Developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives, managing supplier relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve cost, quality, reliability, and supply continuity; Monitor and report on supply chain performance, costs, stock levels, lead times, and supplier performance; Continuously improving and standardizing supply chain processes, systems, controls, and reporting to increase efficiency, traceability, scalability, and resilience. Your profile You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; You have at least 3 years of relevant experience as a supply chain coordinator, operational or tactical buyer, procurement specialist, logistics coordinator, production planner, material planner, or in a comparable supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or operations role, preferably in a manufacturing, high-tech, life-science, or distribution environment; You have practical experience with purchasing, inventory management, order processing, warehousing, and logistics; You are familiar with international shipping, import/export procedures, customs documentation, and relevant tax processes; You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and are comfortable managing both day-to-day operations and longer-term improvements; You have strong analytical skills and are experienced in monitoring costs, budgets, stock levels, forecasts, and operational performance; You have advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system, including purchasing, procurement, inventory, order-management, or materials-planning processes; experience with reporting or data-visualization tools is an advantage; You are proactive, well-organized, accurate, and able to manage multiple priorities independently while taking ownership of results; You communicate effectively and collaborate easily with colleagues, suppliers, logistics providers, and other external partners; You are proficient in English; proficiency in Dutch is an advantage. Core Responsibilities

Coordinate suppliers and logistics partners, oversee related financial administration and performance reporting, and improve sourcing strategies, processes, and controls.
Requirements
Applicants need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of relevant supply chain, procurement, logistics, planning, or operations experience. They should have practical experience with purchasing, inventory, order processing, warehousing, international shipping and customs, strong analytical and Excel skills, and experience with SAP or a comparable ERP system; English proficiency is required, while Dutch is an advantage.
