Job Description

About The Internship Our platform is only as good as the data behind it, and you keep that data accurate. You'll join our database team to track the organizations we cover, collect their annual and sustainability reports, and review AI-assisted extractions of impacts, risks and opportunities (IROs) from CSRD-aligned reports. The work is detailed and often repetitive, but it's the foundation of the insights we deliver to some of the world's largest organizations. In This Role, You Will Review and annotate AI-assisted extractions of IROs from CSRD-aligned reports, checking every one for accuracy Find financial and sustainability reports on corporate websites, upload them to our database and identify key sections such as the sustainability statement and CEO letter Keep organization profiles up to date and clean the database Work on your own AI project to improve the product, the team's work or your own tasks What You'll Learn You'll get hands-on experience with real corporate reporting data and frameworks like CSRD, and see how AI and structured data power a live governance intelligence platform. You'll get dedicated training in your first weeks, daily team check-ins and a team buddy you can turn to at any time. Who We're Looking For You will thrive here if you: Are following a bachelor's or master's program, in sustainability, business, economics, data analytics or a related field Enjoy close reading and structured, detailed work, and keep your accuracy high even on repetitive tasks Speak and write fluent English Are comfortable with Excel; interest in ESG reporting is a must, and knowledge of CSRD is a plus Datamaran is the AI-powered governance platform for enterprise. Regulations change. Stakeholders shift. Markets move. Large organizations are expected to hold a clear, defensible position on all of it, and most still get there through slow manual work on fragmented signals. We turn regulatory, stakeholder and market signals into intelligence that leadership teams can act on, built on 12+ years of expertise in non-financial risk. Risk, legal, compliance, sustainability and corporate affairs teams at Bridgestone, Dell, Cisco, Kraft Heinz and PepsiCo use Datamaran to decide what matters, and to stand behind that decision afterwards. We are 104 people across the UK, US, Spain and the Netherlands. Know what's coming. Act on it.

Core Responsibilities

Review and annotate AI-assisted extractions of impacts, risks, and opportunities from CSRD-aligned reports, and locate, upload, and identify key sections in corporate financial and sustainability reports. Maintain accurate organization profiles and database records, and develop an AI project to improve the product, team workflows, or personal tasks.

Requirements

Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in sustainability, business, economics, data analytics, or a related field, and be fluent in written and spoken English. They should enjoy detailed, repetitive work, maintain high accuracy, and be comfortable with Excel; an interest in ESG reporting is required, while CSRD knowledge is a plus.
