Job Description

About The Internship You'll join our Security & IT Infrastructure team to protect our environment, working on live tools and infrastructure across IT operations, threat detection and Red/Blue team exercises. You'll tune our detection rules, clean up access and asset data, and write documentation the team keeps using after you leave. In This Role, You Will Monitor SIEM alerts, triage incidents with the team, run vulnerability scans and manage internal phishing simulation campaigns Audit and update our asset inventory, and run IAM access reviews to enforce least privilege Tune EDR rules to cut false positives, and support OSINT footprinting and tabletop incident response exercises Turn recurring helpdesk issues into self-service knowledge base articles, and document system configurations, network baseline changes and security playbooks What You'll Learn You'll gain hands-on experience across IT operations, threat detection and offensive and defensive testing, working with senior engineers in weekly sessions. Your work gets reviewed as each deliverable is produced, so you get concrete feedback throughout. Who We're Looking For You will thrive here if you: Are following a bachelor's or master's program, in cybersecurity, computer science, IT, network engineering or a related field Are comfortable with Linux and Windows, command-line interfaces and networking fundamentals, and enjoy troubleshooting Speak and write fluent English, including clear technical documentation Have exposure to or a strong interest in security tools and concepts such as SIEM, EDR, CVSS scoring or vulnerability management platforms Datamaran is the AI-powered governance platform for enterprise. Core Responsibilities

Monitor SIEM alerts, help triage incidents, run vulnerability scans and phishing simulations, and maintain asset and IAM access data. Tune EDR rules, support OSINT and incident response exercises, and create knowledge base articles and security and systems documentation.

Requirements

Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, IT, network engineering, or a related field. They should be comfortable with Linux, Windows, command-line interfaces, and networking fundamentals, communicate fluently in English, and have exposure to or a strong interest in security tools and concepts.
