Description Student Intern (student-stagiair) Full or Part-time Internship (4 or 5 days) Amsterdam Are you a university law student (Dutch law) looking to complete an internship as part of your studies? We are seeking a motivated Student Intern (student-stagiair) to join our Amsterdam office for a two-month internship to gain practical experience in a professional, international environment, while working towards your academic objectives. Our Amsterdam office is a small, close-knit team, based in the WTC, working predominantly in the areas of corporate, litigation and labour & employment law. Our Opportunity As a Student Intern, you will be closely involved in day-to-day legal work and support our lawyers on a variety of matters. We can offer practical experience at an international law firm, with close guidance and excellent exposure to real legal work, to help you build a strong foundation for your future career in law. As we are a small team, you will have the opportunity to work directly with, and learn from, our partners and senior attorneys who are experts in their fields. You will have the opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in practice and develop professional skills such as research and drafting, to compliment your academic studies. You You will be in the final or pre-final year of a law degree at a Dutch university, with an excellent command of both Dutch and English, written and spoken. You will be interested in corporate law, litigation and/or employment law and motivated to gain insight into the legal profession. Core Responsibilities

Support lawyers with day-to-day legal work across a variety of matters, gaining practical experience in an international law firm. Apply academic legal knowledge and develop research and drafting skills under the guidance of partners and senior attorneys.

Requirements

Applicants must be in the final or pre-final year of a law degree at a Dutch university and have excellent written and spoken Dutch and English. They should be interested in corporate law, litigation, and/or employment law, and be available for a two-month internship of four or five days per week.
