We are hiring in the Netherlands! Our Corporate Services team is looking for a Junior Financial Client Accountant to join their growing team in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build their career in accounting and gain hands-on experience working with a varied portfolio of corporate clients. Working alongside an experienced team, you will develop practical experience across bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, annual accounts, VAT returns and audit support. What we are looking for: Studying towards, or has completed a relevant accounting or finance qualification Confidence with numbers and great attention to detail Organised, dependable and comfortable working to deadlines Keen to learn, ask questions and develop their accounting knowledge A team player with good English communication skills Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience would be helpful, but equally important to us is finding someone with the right attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn. Knowledge of Dutch accounting, Dutch language skills or experience with Exact Online would also be an advantage. Support a varied portfolio of corporate clients with bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, annual accounts, and VAT returns. Work alongside the team to provide audit support and develop practical accounting experience.
Requirements
Applicants should be studying toward or have completed a relevant accounting or finance qualification, and should be confident with numbers, detail-oriented, organized, and dependable. Good English communication and a willingness to learn are important; prior accounting or bookkeeping experience is helpful, while Dutch accounting knowledge, Dutch language skills, and Exact Online experience are advantages.
