Key responsibilities
- People manager ensuring continuity and improvement of operation.
- Ensures safe working conditions, and contributes to the work with LEAN principles, food safety and quality at the site.
- Manages the delivery of targets to ensure the department achieves its goals.
- Leads 2nd line fault finding and coordinates effective resource prioritization in consultation with other functional leads.
- Plans, improves and executes maintenance of site equipment in line with departmental strategy.
- Ensures a healthy, inclusive and safe working environment, and a safety mindset.
- Ensures that the department complies with Arla Foods' standards and policies as well as the applicable law.
- Leads, coaches and develops employees and team based on Good Leadership and Good Values according to annual people processes and daily leadership task.
- Is role model for digital transformation, works with data driven decision making and promotes a digital mindset within the team Contributes to process confirmation to support the APS transformation.
- Provides input concerning relevant spare parts stock and materials required.
- Communicates effectively to report on status of lines and equipment based on OEE.
- Completes and updates plant maintenance records complying with all departmental procedures.
- Performs all activities in accordance with company and statutory requirements in order to provide a safe and compliant workplace.
- Defines resources required, work planning and employee scheduling.
- Applies Lean to continually improve operational performance to ensure the department adopts. and genuine continuous improvement mindset.
- Embraces and ensures that Arla Digital WOW is communicated and embedded within the department.
Educational background
- Some years of professional experience (e.g. 3-5 years for University graduates and 10+ years for profiles with technical education ) before entering the leadership career stream.
- Skilled technical education/technical engineer/engineering apprenticeship.
- 1-3 years of technical and/or maintenance experience after completed training or an Arla Foods-trained maintenance technician.
- Preferably leadership experience.
- Knowledge, experience and able to demonstrate LEAN ways of working/practice.

The M&E Team Leader is responsible for managing maintenance operations, ensuring safe working conditions, and leading a team to achieve departmental goals. They oversee equipment maintenance, resource planning, and the implementation of LEAN principles to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
Candidates should have a technical education or engineering apprenticeship with 3-10 years of professional experience, including technical or maintenance roles. Leadership experience and a strong understanding of LEAN methodologies are preferred.
