About the role

As a Senior PHP Developer, you’ll work alongside our team in Utrecht to build and develop various products within our product suite. You’ll be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our solutions, using PHP with Laravel as our back-end framework. We deploy daily to our AWS stack, while our front end consists of several projects built in React and Vue.js.

You’ll work with modern technologies to build fast, scalable products. Think, for example, of databases containing billions of meter-reading records that need to be displayed instantly to customers through apps and customer portals.

We’re looking for a driven and ambitious colleague. In addition to developing new functionality, you’ll actively contribute ideas and help determine the best solutions for our customers. You’ll work alongside highly experienced developers with extensive knowledge of the energy market.

What we expect from you

• At least 5+ years of professional experience as a PHP Developer, with in-depth knowledge of Laravel;

• Experience developing REST APIs;

• Knowledge of hosting applications in the cloud;

• You communicate easily with customers and quickly get to the heart of their requirements;

• You work in a planned, accurate, and structured manner.

• It would be great if you also have

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker;

• Knowledge of Terraform and AWS;

• Knowledge of Apache Kafka;

• Knowledge of Cloudflare.
