Job Description

Are you passionate about driving people strategy in a fast-growing and entrepreneurial region? As Regional HR Partner Lead Middle East, you will lead the regional HR Partner organization and act as a trusted advisor to business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement across the region.


Your role

As Regional HR Partner Lead Middle East, you are responsible for leading the people agenda across the region and supporting business leaders in achieving strategic objectives through effective people management and organizational development. You will act as a trusted HR advisor and play an important role in supporting leadership teams through change, organizational development, talent decisions and workforce planning.


You will lead the HR Partner organization across the Middle East and ensure that global HR initiatives are translated into impactful regional execution while taking local needs and market dynamics into account.


This role combines senior HR partnering with hands-on execution of (a.o.) HR cycle topics.


Your responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the regional HR Partner organization across the Middle East.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent management, engagement and succession planning that support business growth.
  • Ensure effective execution of HR processes, policies, and programs, including integration programs such as the Vanderlande Logistics integration
  • Drive local implementation of Vanderlande’s people strategy, its global and regional HR initiatives across the region.
  • Lead organizational development and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure effective execution of talent, performance, rewards, mobility, engagement, DEI, health & wellbeing and learning & development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor legislation, regional employment practices and company policies.
  • Manage complex employee relations and people-related matters.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics and provide people insights to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with regional HR teams, Global HRBPs, and HR Functions.

Your team

You will be part of the Global HR organization and report to the global Head of Regional HR Global Services. You will lead HR Partners across the Middle East and work closely with regional leadership teams and global HR stakeholders to support sustainable business growth.


Your profile

Essential

  • You have significant HR leadership experience within an international environment.
  • You are a trusted advisor to senior leaders within a complex international organization.
  • You have strong business acumen and a results-oriented mindset.
  • You have experience working within Middle Eastern markets with proven knowledge of labor legislation and employment practices in Middle East.
  • You have proven experience leading and developing HR teams.
  • You have experience in change management and driving organizational transformation.
  • You possess strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • You can effectively work across different cultures and organizational levels.
  • You communicate effectively across cultures and organizational levels.

Travel: 20-40% of your time, depending on business needs and regional priorities.


Preferred

  • You have experience supporting large-scale business growth and transformation within multinational organizations.
  • You have experience within technology, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
