We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Bachelor or Master student who is interested in making a difference in Category Development at Kraft Heinz!
The Category team is at the heart of our commercial activities and sets out and implements an effective category management for our brands. This includes drafting commercial strategies, identifying brand & category opportunities and regular sparring sessions with the marketing, sales, finance, procurement, and other commercial teams.
The Position
You will support the Commercial Strategy team in developing category plans, identifying opportunities and connecting Marketing, Sales, Finance and other commercial functions.
As an intern at Kraft Heinz, you will be trusted with meaningful responsibilities from the start. Alongside your day-to-day work, you will have opportunities to develop your professional skills, learn how different functions work together and build relationships across an international business. You are encouraged to ask questions, share ideas and bring a fresh perspective. You will receive support from colleagues while being expected to take ownership of agreed projects and deliverables.
Depending on your profile, your experience and interests you will be supporting one of the following teams in Amsterdam:
· Meals (e.g., Honig) & Taste elevation (e.g., Heinz Tomato Ketchup)
· Drinks & Brunch (e.g., Karvan Cévitam, Venz and De Ruijter)

What you’ll do
- Lead the promo plan alignment in collaboration with our colleagues from Sales and Revenue Growth Management
- Track product and category performance to support retailer and channel strategy
- Conduct regular market-share and performance analyses
- Translate data into relevant insights for the Trade Category Manager
- Support the sell-out forecasting process
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify business opportunities
Job requirements
- Current bachelor’s or master’s enrolment at a European university for at least 50% of the internship period
- Strong written and verbal English skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Interest in category strategy, retail and data analysis
NOTE: EU working rights are required (Either you have an EU Citizenship, or you are studying in the Netherlands).

What we offer:
- Start date: February 2027
- Duration: 6 months
- Allowance: €625 per month (40 hrs, 5 days) & full reimbursement of travel expenses
- Location: Amsterdam, hybrid (occasional home working in alignment with the team)
