Job Title
Internship: Validation of Hair-Cutting ModelsJob Description
Are you the enthusiastic, talented graduate intern we're looking for?
Can you turn a raw sensor signal into a reliable engineering measurement? Join the Grooming and Beauty Development team to extend an existing experimental platform with a new sensing technology. You will combine mechanical design, sensor integration, signal processing and data analysis to create a measurement solution that is reliable, repeatable and suitable for engineering decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
As an intern, you will:
· Take ownership of the assignment, including planning, design, experimentation and communication of results.
· Develop and evaluate concepts for robust mechanical sensor integration.
· Design mechanical components and fixtures for the measurement setup.
· Acquire and analyse sensor data under representative conditions.
· Investigate noise, variation, repeatability and measurement uncertainty.
· Develop algorithms that convert raw sensor signals into meaningful engineering parameters.
· Correlate the new measurements with other available measurement sources.
· Validate the performance of the integrated measurement system.
· Contribute to further mechanical and functional improvements of the experimental platform.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
