Job Description
We’re looking for a C&I BESS EPC Consultant in Europe BESS SERVICE is expanding its European installation, commissioning and O&M business into turnkey energy storage solutions for commercial and industrial customers. We are looking for an experienced consultant to help us develop practical site designs, reliable cost estimates and complete EPC proposals. This opportunity is particularly suited to someone who has personally designed, estimated or delivered behind-the-meter battery storage projects in Europe. You will help us: • Assess customer requirements, site conditions, load profiles and existing electrical infrastructure. • Develop or review system sizing, site layouts, single-line diagrams and electrical integration concepts. • Define engineering requirements and coordinate with local specialists on grid connection, civil works, fire safety and permitting. • Prepare bills of quantities and itemized EPC cost estimates covering equipment, electrical and civil works, installation, logistics and commissioning. • Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations. • Prepare customer proposals with clear scope, assumptions, exclusions, responsibilities and contingency allowances. • Build reusable design checklists, estimating tools and quotation templates, and transfer practical knowledge to our team. We would like to hear from you if you have: • Direct experience in European C&I battery storage EPC projects. • Personal responsibility for engineering, tendering or cost estimation—not solely business development or project coordination. • A practical understanding of local installation costs, project interfaces and delivery risks. • The ability to turn incomplete customer information into a clear proposal, identifying what must be confirmed before committing to a price. Experience in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany would be particularly valuable. PV + BESS and EV charging integration experience is also welcome. We are open to paid consultancy on a project basis or through an ongoing part-time arrangement, with site visits as required. For an exceptional candidate who shares our long-term ambition, there is also the opportunity to explore joining our founding team as an equity partner, with responsibilities and terms agreed together. You will work with our European service network and technical team in China, helping us build an EPC business backed by practical commissioning and long-term maintenance capabilities. Interested? Please send your CV or company profile, brief examples of relevant projects—including country, system size and your personal responsibilities—plus your availability and consultancy fee expectations. 📩 [email protected] Or contact me directly on LinkedIn. #BESS #EnergyStorage #EPC #Engineering #Consulting #Hiring
