THE TEAM
The Sales & Marketing team plays a pivotal role in maximizing the commercial success of Rosewood Amsterdam. Responsible for driving revenue across rooms, events, dining, and leisure experiences, the team develops innovative strategies that enhance market share, profitability, and brand positioning. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing and working closely with the Senior Director, Sales & Marketing, EMEAC, the Director of Revenue will collaborate with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Regional Revenue Management to deliver exceptional commercial performance.
YOUR ROLE
As Director of Revenue, you will shape and execute the revenue management strategy for Rosewood Amsterdam during its pre-opening phase and beyond. This role is instrumental in building the hotel's commercial foundation, ensuring systems, processes, and partnerships are established to support long-term success.
You will lead all aspects of revenue management, leveraging data, technology, and market intelligence to optimize pricing, distribution, inventory, and market mix strategies. Working closely with commercial and operational leaders, you will drive revenue growth, maximize profitability, and position Rosewood Amsterdam as a leader within the luxury hospitality market.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Lead the pre-opening revenue management strategy, including the implementation of revenue systems, tools, and partner integrations.
- Develop and execute strategic revenue management plans that maximize profitability and market share.
- Drive pricing, inventory, forecasting, and demand strategies to optimize RevPAR performance.
- Partner with Sales & Marketing leaders to create and deliver a comprehensive commercial strategy.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Oversee distribution channel management and third-party partnerships to maximize online presence and revenue generation.
- Produce insightful revenue reporting, identify need periods, and implement tactical plans to drive demand.
- Ensure compliance with Rosewood Revenue Management standards while continuously enhancing processes and systems.

- You are an experienced revenue management leader with a strong background in luxury hospitality environments.
- You possess expert knowledge of revenue management, hotel distribution, and commercial systems.
- You thrive in data-driven environments and can translate market intelligence into actionable business strategies.
- You have successfully implemented complex systems and processes, ideally within a hotel opening or transformation setting.
- You build strong partnerships across departments and collaborate effectively with commercial and operational stakeholders.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and competitive positioning.
- You are confident working with automation, analytics, forecasting tools, and statistical models.
- You communicate fluently in English, with additional language skills such as Dutch considered an advantage.
