International School Hilversum | Secondary Education | 0.6–0.7 FTE | Fixed Term Contract We are looking for a teacher of Social Studies, History and Theory of Knowledge who is interested in triggering students' creativity and natural curiosity. Our ideal candidate meets the following requirements: You have a teaching qualification recognised by DUO. You have a master's degree in History, Global Politics or a related field. You have experience in teaching History and/or TOK at a secondary school level. You have experience teaching IB MYP courses. You have a multidisciplinary interest and would be keen to get involved in school life beyond just your lessons. You live in the Netherlands and have a valid work visa or an EU/Dutch passport. You will join the I&S Department and teach students from different year groups in the International Baccalaureate Programme. You are responsible, with your colleagues, for designing the curriculum. The team is experienced and well established and you will receive guidance and support. We are particularly interested in candidates who wish to contribute to school life, whether as a mentor or by supporting initiatives like the Duke of Edinburgh International Award, MUN, and various student clubs. Core Responsibilities

Requirements

Candidates must hold a teaching qualification recognized by DUO and a master's degree in History, Global Politics, or a related field. They should have secondary-level History and/or TOK teaching experience, experience teaching IB MYP courses, a multidisciplinary outlook, and the right to work in the Netherlands.
