Job Description

The Winchester Planning Board is seeking a volunteer to fill one (1) position on the Design Review Committee (DRC) for a three-year term ending on December 31, 2030. The Design Review Committee is responsible for maintaining and improving the Town's visual and architectural standards. It reviews and provides recommendations on site improvements and design matters as requested by the Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Select Board. The Committee consists of seven members: two appointed by the Select Board, two appointed by the Town Moderator, and three appointed by the Planning Board. The Planning Board appointees must have expertise in visual design, architecture, or local business. Interested individuals must submit a statement of interest and a brief description of qualifications by December 1, 2026, for consideration. Core Responsibilities
