Are you ready to help redefine European train travel? Let’s make it happen together! Rail Timetable & Rolling Stock Planner What will you do? Your role will be a detail-oriented and proactive (junior or senior) rail timetable and rolling stock planner in our dynamic team. You will be planning and coordinating timetables and rail operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. You will be responsible for: · Preparing, adjusting and aligning international train timetables in cooperation with infrastructure managers and other stakeholders; · Monitoring and analysing timetables and the rolling stock plan, to optimize efficiency and reduce delays; · Coordinating with carriage owners to ensure the availability and reliability of carriages; · Planning the deployment of carriages on short and long term · Collaborating with other departments to align rail operations with overall business objectives; · Preparing and present reports on rail performance and operational metrics; · Identifying and address potential issues in rail operations proactively; · Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. What do we require? · Affinity with logistics or transport and a willingness to solve complex planning problems; · A bachelor's degree in Transport, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field, is desirable, but not required; · Spoken and written English and German at minimum B2-level required, French or Dutch or Italian is of benefit; · Proven experience in timetable planning or a similar role (i.e. dispatching and traffic management) at an infrastructure manager or train operator is desirable, but not required; · Knowledge of rail industry regulations and standards is desirable, but not required; Who are you? · You work and decide priorities independently; · You will be able to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; · You deal with complex and scattered information sources; · You work together with, and have the ability to steer discussions and secure approval / agreement with multiple counterparts at external stakeholders, such as infrastructure managers; · You work diligently, with an eye to quality (without loosing yourself in perfectionism); · You accept that part of the work consists of doing repetitive, administrative tasks; · You create and keep an overview of your own workload, planning and complete results; · You understand what is involved in a start-up; · Like us, you like to travel by (night) train. What do we offer? · We will determine your remuneration by mutual agreement based on your expertise and work experience. · A position of 24-40 hours per week. · Our own office space in Central Utrecht where you work for a minimum of two days a week or more. · An energetic and inspiring working environment with room for own initiative and personal development. · A look behind the scenes of a new railway company! Requirements

Candidates should have an affinity for logistics or transport and be able to manage complex planning tasks, competing priorities, and multiple stakeholder discussions independently. English and German at a minimum B2 level are required; a relevant bachelor's degree, rail planning or similar experience, and knowledge of rail regulations are desirable but not required.
