Job Description

On a mission At DeltaQuad, you’ll work on technology that truly matters. As a pioneer in long-range electric VTOL drones (Vertical Take-Off and Landing), we develop robust systems in collaboration with trusted partners, which are deployed across the globe for defence, agriculture and inspection. Our drones are reliable, user-friendly, and built to perform in demanding environments. We combine technical innovation with a pragmatic mindset. What we do today shapes where we’ll be tomorrow, and you’ll play a crucial role in that journey. Our core values Partnerships – Growing together through long-term collaboration Customer focus – Thinking and acting with the customer in mind Ownership – Taking responsibility for what we do Innovation – Finding smart, practical solutions Excellence – Focused on quality and results Team spirit – Building trust, growth, and enjoyment together The role The Brand & Creative Lead is responsible for translating DeltaQuad’s mission, corporate positioning and communication strategy into clear creative direction, concepts, formats and high-quality brand output. Operating at the intersection of advanced technology, defence and security, you will help shape how DeltaQuad presents its brand, products and capabilities to government and defence customers, international partners, industry stakeholders, investors and other professional audiences. This is a different creative challenge from traditional consumer or retail branding. Our audiences are highly informed, our products are technically complex and credibility matters. You need to understand what makes a sophisticated product relevant to a B2B audience and turn technical capabilities into communication that is clear, distinctive and compelling without losing substance or accuracy. You will contribute to the development of our brand strategy and take the lead in bringing that strategy to life creatively. From defining the visual direction for a product launch or industry event to improving our brand templates or briefing a freelance designer, you make sure our creative output is distinctive, consistent, credible and professionally executed. This is a hands-on creative role, combining strategic and conceptual thinking with practical execution and creative production leadership. Key responsibilities Brand Strategy & Direction: Help develop our brand strategy and translate our mission, positioning and messaging into clear and distinctive creative direction. Creative Concepts & Execution: Develop concepts, formats and assets for campaigns, product launches, market entries, industry events and employer branding. Brand Consistency: Own and strengthen brand consistency across our marketing and communication channels. Product Storytelling: Work with Product and technical teams to understand complex technology and turn technical capabilities, features and use cases into clear, accurate and visually compelling stories for specialist and B2B audiences. Creative Leadership: Brief and guide freelance designers, agencies and other creative partners while remaining hands-on where needed. Creative Operations: Improve guidelines, templates, workflows and production processes to raise quality and make creative output more scalable. What you bring B2B Brand & Creative Experience: Strong experience in branding, creative direction or visual communication within a B2B environment. You understand how to communicate to professional audiences and decision-makers, where credibility, clarity and substance are central to the brand. Technology or Industry Experience: Experience working with technology, engineering, aerospace, defence, robotics, industrial products or another complex technical offering is strongly preferred. You should be comfortable getting into the detail of a product to understand what you are communicating. Strong Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating strong brand thinking and creative concepts within a B2B, technology or product-led environment, and their consistent application across different formats and channels. Technical Storytelling: You can take complex technical information and turn it into communication that is understandable and engaging while retaining the accuracy and substance expected by knowledgeable audiences. Strategic + Hands-on: Able to translate brand and communication strategy into creative work and comfortable executing ideas yourself. Creative Leadership: Experience directing designers, freelancers, agencies or other creative specialists. Stakeholder Skills: Able to work effectively with Product, Marketing, Engineering and other technical stakeholders and turn complex input into strong creative output. Quality & Ownership: A sharp eye for detail, high creative standards and the ability to manage multiple projects from concept through delivery. Professional fluency in English is required. Who you are You have a strong creative point of view without becoming precious about your ideas. You can explain why something works, challenge work that isn’t strong enough and translate feedback from different stakeholders into a better creative outcome. You’re comfortable working in an environment where not everything is already defined. Rather than simply maintaining an established brand system, you enjoy helping build and improve one. You are genuinely interested in technology and complex products. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you are curious enough to ask the right questions, understand what makes a product technically and commercially relevant and turn that into a strong story.\ You understand that B2B technology branding requires a different approach from consumer branding. The audience may include engineers, defence professionals, government stakeholders, procurement teams, partners and other industry specialists. You know how to create work that gets their attention while still feeling credible, intelligent and appropriate for the environment we’re operating in. You bring sound judgement about how to present complex information, balancing creative ambition with technical accuracy, audience expectations and organisational sensitivities. Most importantly, you know how to balance creativity with clarity. Our products are highly technical and operate in serious environments, so the strongest creative work isn’t necessarily the loudest. It makes complex technology understandable, builds credibility and gives DeltaQuad a distinctive and consistent identity. What we offer Coaching and professional growth opportunities 27 vacation days (based on full-time) 38-hour workweek with flexible working hours Travel reimbursement of €0.25/km or full compensation for public transport (2nd class) Excellent pension scheme through the PME pension fund Work in an innovative, high-tech environment with real-world impact Open, informal company culture where your ideas are valued Lunch provided by DeltaQuad, monthly team drinks, and regular team activities Please note that, as part of our recruitment process, we may request a Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and conduct a background screening in accordance with our screening policy.
