Essential Duties And Responsibilities Clean the various Community Centers and Fairgrounds buildings. Assist coordinators as needed with set-up/ tear down of events , inventory, storage room arrangement, etc. Assist in set-up/ tear down of tables and chairs for various events held at the Fairgrounds. Clean and maintain floors of Civic Center using floor machine. Report all damages of facilities to director. Perform any small maintenance work needed, such as repairing tables, assembling small furniture items, pressure washing, etc. Education And/or Experience High School Diploma or its equivalent. A valid Mississippi driver's license is required. Minimum of 5 years experience in janitorial services preferred. Some maintenance knowledge preferred. Core Responsibilities

Clean and maintain community center and fairground buildings, including operating floor-cleaning equipment and performing deep cleaning. Assist with event setup and teardown, manage inventory and storage arrangements, report facility damage, and complete minor maintenance tasks.

Requirements

A high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Mississippi driver's license are required. At least five years of janitorial experience and some maintenance knowledge are preferred.
