Role Description This part-time Spa Therapist role at W Amsterdam is an on-site position based in Amsterdam. The Spa Therapist provides high-quality spa services, including facials, body treatments, massages following brand standards and hygiene protocols. Daily responsibilities include preparing treatment rooms, managing appointment schedules, performing consultations to understand guest needs, and recommending appropriate treatments and products. The role involves delivering a welcoming, relaxing experience, maintaining a clean and safe spa environment, and collaborating with the spa team to support operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. The Spa Therapist is also expected to promote spa offerings, support retail sales, and uphold W Amsterdam’s service and wellness standards. Qualifications Professional expertise in cosmetology, with a recognized qualification or certification in beauty or wellness therapies. Hands-on experience performing facials and a range of spa treatments in a professional environment. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive, and respectful guest experience. Proficiency in pedicures and other nail or foot-care services, with attention to detail and hygiene. Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene standards relevant to spa and wellness settings. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Dutch or other languages is an advantage. Team-oriented mindset, reliability, and a professional, discreet approach to guest care. Previous spa, hotel, or wellness center experience is preferred.
