Country Sales Director – Netherlands
Key Skills
Job Description
Build the Netherlands with us Mind The Hack is a European cybersecurity technology company building the Exposure Decision Platform. We help organizations move beyond vulnerability volume and technical severity by continuously discovering exposures, validating what attackers can actually exploit, connecting proven risks into attack paths, and helping security teams identify the actions that matter most. Our approach combines ethical-hacker methodologies, security automation, exploit validation, attack path analysis, contextual risk prioritization, and AI-assisted decisioning. Mind The Hack already works with major enterprise organizations across regulated and critical sectors, including national aviation infrastructure, telecommunications, banking, and energy. We are now expanding into the Netherlands. And we are looking for the person who will build the market with us. The Opportunity You will become the first senior commercial presence for Mind The Hack in the Netherlands, reporting directly to our VP of Sales and working closely with the CEO, Product, Cybersecurity, and Engineering teams. There is no inherited customer book to manage and no mature local organization to step into. Instead, you will have the opportunity to: establish Mind The Hack within the Dutch cybersecurity market; open and win strategic enterprise accounts; build direct relationships with leading CISOs and security executives; shape our local go-to-market strategy; help define which partners we work with; influence how we position and sell the platform in the market; and, as the business grows, build the commercial organization around you. You will have significant autonomy and ownership of the market, supported by an established sales leadership and technical organization. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who already knows the Dutch cybersecurity market. Someone who has spent years building trusted relationships with CISOs, security leaders, CIOs, and senior technology decision-makers. Someone who can open conversations through their credibility, relationships, and understanding of the market. And, most importantly, someone who has repeatedly turned those relationships into new enterprise business. You may currently be a Senior or Strategic Account Executive, Enterprise Sales Director, Regional Sales Manager, Country Sales Manager, or hold a similar senior commercial position. Your current title matters less to us than your network, your track record, and your ability to create business. What You Will Own You will: Build Mind The Hack's commercial presence in the Netherlands from the ground up. Develop and execute a focused enterprise target-account strategy. Generate pipeline through your existing network, direct engagement, strategic outreach, partners, and the wider Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem. Build trusted relationships with CISOs, security leaders, CIOs, and executive stakeholders across strategic Dutch organizations. Personally originate and win new enterprise customers. Own the complete sales cycle from first engagement through discovery, demonstration, technical evaluation, Proof of Concept, procurement, negotiation, and close. Lead complex, consultative cybersecurity sales processes involving technical, commercial, procurement, and executive stakeholders. Work closely with our VP of Sales on territory strategy, account planning, major opportunities, forecasting, and commercial execution. Work directly with our cybersecurity, product, and engineering teams throughout demonstrations and technical evaluations. Identify and develop selected relationships with MSSPs, systems integrators, cybersecurity advisors, and other strategic partners that can accelerate market access. Represent Mind The Hack within relevant Dutch cybersecurity communities, CISO networks, executive forums, partner ecosystems, and industry events. Bring market intelligence directly into the company, including customer needs, competitors, pricing, partnerships, and emerging opportunities. Help shape how Mind The Hack goes to market in the Netherlands. What You Bring You should have: Significant experience selling cybersecurity software, platforms, or technically complex security solutions into enterprise organizations in the Netherlands. An established network among Dutch CISOs, security leaders, and senior technology decision-makers. A strong record of winning new enterprise logos. Evidence that you have personally originated opportunities rather than simply inherited an existing customer base. The ability to build meaningful pipeline independently rather than relying primarily on inbound leads, an established brand, or an existing local sales organization. Experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles involving technical validation, multiple stakeholders, procurement, legal, and executive sponsorship. The credibility to engage equally well with technical security teams and senior executives. Strong commercial discipline around qualification, account planning, pipeline management, and forecasting. Familiarity with MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or a comparable enterprise sales methodology. An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating with significant autonomy. Professional fluency in English. Dutch language proficiency is strongly preferred. What Success Looks Like Your first objective is to establish a repeatable enterprise business for Mind The Hack in the Netherlands. Success during the first year includes: creating a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities; establishing meaningful relationships with leading Dutch CISOs and security executives; winning the first strategic customers in the market; achieving an initial commercial benchmark of approximately €500k in new ACV; establishing a focused network of strategic local partners; and creating a repeatable commercial motion that supports further investment and growth. As the market develops and agreed commercial milestones are achieved, the role is expected to evolve into broader leadership responsibility, including helping define and build the local commercial team. Why This Role Is Different At an established cybersecurity vendor, you may inherit a territory, a customer base, a partner network, and an existing playbook. Here, you have the opportunity to create them. You will have the backing of our VP of Sales, direct access to company leadership, and close collaboration with the people building and operating the technology. You will influence our market strategy. You will help determine how Mind The Hack establishes itself in the Netherlands. And if you successfully build the business, you will have the opportunity to grow into the person who leads it. We are not looking for someone to manage an existing territory. We are looking for the person who can build one. If you know the Dutch cybersecurity market, have trusted relationships within the CISO community, and want your next role to be about building something rather than inheriting it, we would like to hear from you.
Core Responsibilities
Build Mind The Hack’s commercial presence in the Netherlands by generating pipeline, developing strategic enterprise accounts, and personally winning new customers. Own the full sales cycle, develop selected local partnerships, represent the company in the Dutch cybersecurity ecosystem, and contribute market insight and go-to-market strategy.
Requirements
Requires significant experience selling cybersecurity software or technically complex security solutions to Dutch enterprise organizations, a strong network among CISOs and senior technology decision-makers, and a record of originating and winning new business. Candidates should be able to manage complex sales cycles, build pipeline independently, use MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, or a comparable methodology, and be professionally fluent in English; Dutch proficiency is strongly preferred.
