And now, Conscious Hotels The Tire Station is looking for a Front Office Host (parttime). During your shift, you are the shining face of the hotel. You take care of everything: checking in guests, helping with the self check-in system, giving the best Amsterdam tips, and effortlessly selling a bike rental or sustainable goodies. You love chatting with guests, making a perfect coffee (or tea), and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. Here, the front desk isn’t the only place you shine – you also froth milk like a pro. You work independently, stay on top of things, and handle whatever comes your way – from late check-ins to a friendly chat at the bar. Job requirements and personal qualities: You are looking for a nice parttime job; Front office host and barista in one – now that’s multitasking with a smile; Hospitality is in your DNA – you can sense exactly what a guest needs; Ideally, you have experience in (international) hotels or the hospitality industry – to provide the best service for our guests; Flexible availability – Including weekends and holidays; You speak fluent English. If you also speak Dutch, that’s a nice bonus; You live in Amsterdam; You are a team player but also work well independently; Experience with complaint handling and knowledge of HACCP is a plus. Core Responsibilities
Welcome guests and manage check-ins, assist with the self check-in system, provide local recommendations, and promote bike rentals and sustainable products. Prepare coffee and tea, support bar service, and handle guest needs independently while contributing to a positive guest experience.
Requirements
The role calls for strong hospitality instincts, fluent English, flexible availability including weekends and holidays, and residence in Amsterdam. Hotel or hospitality experience is preferred; Dutch, complaint-handling experience, and HACCP knowledge are additional advantages.
